After church, we got home and sent Mitch the message.

"I hope he understands it." I said.

"Yeah. We can't send him the message in code, because we'd have to tell him the code, and they could easily get their hands on it." Preston said.

"Chances are, they're going to try and capture more of us, so if that happens, we should know a code that we could teach Mitch once he's back with us." Rob said.

"For someone who doesn't have a job, you have a good idea." Jerome remarked. We all laughed at that as Rob glared at Jerome. I got up, and went to my room to come up with a possible code, so that they might actually learn it. It can't be too complex, or else we'll likely forget it, but not too simple, because it would be too easy to crack. Eventually, I came up with:

Looking over it, I figured it looked pretty good. I picked it up and walked out of my room to show the rest of the Pack. That feels so weird and foreign in my head. Approaching the door, I heard everyone else still in Preston's room, chatting. I pushed open the door and showed everyone the code.

"How does it look?" I asked, getting everyone's attention.

"It doesn't look hard to remember, plus, you chose a random letter in the alphabet to start with." Vikk commented. Soon, we all agreed that this would be our official code.
Mitch's POV
As I scanned the screen, I tried to figure out if they had attempted to send me a coded message. But if they did, why? Wait, they did mention seeing me again a lot in the message. I guess I can try turning invisible without the guards knowing. Just then, the sound of a door slamming shut jerked me out of my thoughts.

"Get up. Grab all your belongings you might have. You're changing cells." A gruff voice ordered me. I quickly stood up, holding the PC, and gazed around the room, looking for anything else. I had already put my headphones back into my jacket pocket, and other than that, I hadn't used much else. I turned around, and got my first look at the speaker. He was tall, maybe around Lachlan's height, with dark brown hair that had minor gray tints in it. His eyes, like everyone else around here, were cold and emotionless.

"Hurry up. I don't have all day!" He said, turning to leave.

"What's your name?" I asked, hurrying up to him.

"Mial." He said, fidgeting. It crossed my mind that he might be lying, but I decided not to push it.

Soon, I arrived in a room that was a little bigger than my old cage, but that's not what really caught my attention. It was that there was grass under my feet, and even a tree in the corner. I looked around, taking everything in. Surely this wasn't my new cell. But when I turned around to ask Mial, he was gone. And I couldn't see the door.
