Chapter 41

When I got back home, I looked around for a few seconds before Vikk and Preston turned and saw me.

"Ash, is everything good?" Preston asked me. I nodded, and got ready to stand up.

"May I go to my room? I'm just really worried about Cheryl." I said. They nodded, but as I walked towards the stairs, I could feel that their eyes never left me.

After laying on my bed for probably an hour, it dawned on me that I should probably text Raven about how I'm doing.

Hey Raven, I'm at my house right now. Have you heard anything from Cheryl?
Hey Ash! Glad you made it home okay! And no, I haven't heard anything from Cheryl yet. I'll text you when I do though.

Putting the phone down, I glanced around for my PSP. I hadn't been on it for a while, and I wanted to do something familiar. Soon, after having shifted into a fox and starting the song that I heard before my life changed, I was curled up asleep.
Preston's POV
Hearing noise coming from Ashley's room, I headed up the stairs. I recognized the song, having heard it the day I went to adopt her.

Opening the door, I saw her curled up asleep as a fox. I smiled, closed her door, and went back downstairs.

"Hey Preston, have you uploaded a video today?" Vikk asked me.

"Nope, thanks for reminding me though. Also, don't bother Ash right now, I think she's asleep." I said, and went back upstairs. Glancing over at my right monitor, I saw that there was another message from Mitch.

Hey dudes, I hope that once I see you, you can see me! Also, this guy named Mial cane and moved me into a new cell. It has a tree, possible open air at the top, and grass as the floor. Ashley's friend Cheryl is here too for some reason and she says to tell Ashley to not worry. I also want Ash to know that she can trust Liam, even though it sounds crazy. I'll talk more about it later, bye guys!

Reading it, I wondered what he meant by Liam can be trusted. Wasn't he the one that wrote the threatening letter?
Hey Vikk, can you hear me? I asked, hoping he was listening.
Yeah, why? He responded.
Come up here. And don't wake Ashley. I said. Soon I heard him coming up the stairs, and I showed him the message.

"Wait, so does this mean tha-" He said before I cut him off.

"Don't say anything to Ash about this yet. Or anything about Cheryl, I don't want her to worry." I said. "Now, could you ask Lachlan to get the rest of the original Pack back here?" He nodded, and seemed to zone out. Soon, we had the whole OG Pack in there, minus Mitch. I pointed at the message, and they all read it.

"So who is Liam? And why does Mial look a lot like the name Liam?" Rob pointed out.
Ashley's POV
I woke up to hushed whispers in another room. Curious, I listened in to what was being said.

"So, who is Liam? And why does Mial look a lot like the name Liam?" I heard someone say. Why were they talking about Liam? And who is Mial? I thought to myself. Suddenly the whispers stopped. Hurriedly I curled back up and acted like I was asleep. The door opened, and I heard Jerome say,

"She's still asleep Vikk, are you sure she was awake?"

"Yes I'm sure. Why would I lie to you guys?" Vikk responded.

"Well, she looks like she's still asleep. Let's go downstairs where we won't wake her up." Preston said. Soon, my door closed and I slowly opened one eye. Seeing no one, I opened my other eye and finally sat up. Wanting to take my mind off things, I grabbed my laptop and opened up survival Minecraft.

After I finally had a full set of diamond armor, I quit out of Minecraft and went downstairs.

"Hey guys, is there anything to eat?" I asked them.

"Yeah, there should be some leftovers in the fridge." Preston said.

Did you hear anything earlier? I heard Vikk ask me.
No, why? Did y'all find out anything about Cheryl? I asked, opening the fridge. Not seeing any leftovers, I went back to where the guys were.

"So Ashley, we need to tell you something." Jerome said.

Hey guys, I know I said I would try and update more often, and I promise y'all, I'm trying. I'm really sorry, and I'm already working on the next chapter.
