Chapter 15

Why does it seem like we're all here for a reason? Rob asked me.
Maybe we are, maybe it's just chance. All I know is that we all have powers, but no one knows yours yet. Preston is fire, Lachlan is teleportation, and Vikk is mind reading. Do you already know yours? I asked.
It might have something to do with growing things. I've always had an abnormally green thumb. He said.
Thanks for distracting him. We needed that. I heard Vikk tell me. I turned, and thought you're welcome. Are y'all good now? He nodded, and I turned back to Rob.
An abnormally green thumb? Will you try and grow something right here? He closed his eyes and concentrated, and suddenly there was a large patch of wildflowers in the clearing. Hey guys, I think we figured out Rob's power!
**end of dream**

I got up, and remembered that it is Sunday. Putting on a cute shirt and nice jeans, I went downstairs to find Preston and Brianna already down there. After church, we went to Chipotle for lunch. I suddenly was glad I had chosen to wear jeans and cute little boots, because as we were halfway through the meal, my feet turned into fox paws. This needed to stop happening. Concentrating hard, I felt my feet go back to normal, but I know that when we got home I needed to practice controlling it.

After working on it for a few hours, Brianna knocked on my door.

"Supper is whatever you can find to eat.  We have Hot Pockets, leftover Chipotle, and I think some TV dinners." She said. Nodding, I got off my bed, and went to go make myself a Hot Pocket. After finishing it, I went ahead and fell asleep.

**Dream**
Getting to the clearing, I noticed something was off about it. It felt like there was someone there, but when I looked around, I saw no one. Shrugging, I lay my head on my paws, waiting for someone to come. I was super early, so I figured it would take everyone else a while. Suddenly, the grass near my nose flattened down, even though it appeared that there wasn't anything there. I yawned and sat up, wondering who the new person was tonight. Turning human, I stood up and said I know you're there. Is it Mitch or Jerome? I heard a gasp, and suddenly Mitch stood in front of me. You have invisibility? I asked. He nodded, then asked a question of his own.
Were you the fox? I nodded yes, and let him think about that. Finally Preston, Rob, Vikk, and Lachlan arrived. Right before they got there though, I had decided to go fox again. Mitch had been startled when they suddenly appeared, and he had gone fully invisible. Mitch is here tonight. His power is invisibility. Y'all startled him, so he's hiding in plain sight. I tell Vikk, who turns and tells everyone what I just told him. They begin asking for Mitch to become visible again, but he doesn't. I cock my head, waiting for someone to suddenly be grabbed. It finally happens with Lachlan nearly jumping 4 feet in the air. We all laugh, and on that note, I leave.
