Chapter 3

I decided to reread the Harry Potter books for the hundredth time. They were some of my favorite books, and since I'm a fast reader, the longest it ever took me to finish them was a week.

All day I lay on my bed, reading the Harry Potter books, and listening to music on my PSP, when there's a knock on the door. I pause my music, and say come in. Absorbed in my book, I don't tune in to what they're saying until I realize they're asking me a question.

"Sorry, what?" I say, finally looking up. I realize that there's a potential adopter in my room, which confused me.
The person just smiles, and says his question again.

"What's your name, and how old are you?"

"I'm 14, and my name is Ashley." I answer him. As I sat there, answering other occasional questions, I realize he looks a lot like the person from my dream in the forest.

When they finally left, I tried to see if I could successfully become a red fox in real life, and after about an hour, I succeeded. Jumping onto my bed to view myself in the mirror, I noticed that even my eye color had changed. It was now a pretty amber color instead of the usual plain brown shade I hated. Growing tired, I went and curled up under the bed, so no one would be startled by a fox in my room.

**Dream**
As I frolicked through the woods as a fox, I noticed that one guy again, the flame guy. Hoping he didn't see me, I turned back, and almost ran into another guy. I began wondering if the two were connected, when the person started to say something. I got ready to run again, when suddenly, like he knew my intentions, reached down and grabbed me. He began taking me back where I had been, towards that other guy. I didn't like the strong grip he had on me, or the fact that he was forcing me back to that one guy, and I began to struggle. But even though I put up a fight, his grip just tightens.
