Walking out of the room, I thought about how Vikk had simply intruded on my innermost thoughts. I had been doing better, or so it seemed, of keeping a mental wall around my personal business. Feeling betrayed, I went upstairs to my bedroom and lay down.
Mitch's POV
"Hey Cheryl, any idea on why you ended up here? Like, any special powers or anything?" I asked her.

"It might have to do with how I had read that note to Ashley, but other than that, I'm not sure." She said, then, "Wait, what do you mean special powers? Ashley never told Raven or me about that." As I opened my mouth to answer, a resounding thud came from where the door was. "What was that?" Cheryl asked me. I motioned her to be quiet, and, turning invisible, crept towards where the sound came from.

"Mitch! Cheryl! Open this door! It's me, Mial!" The person, Mial, shouted. Once I started stretching my arm out to open it though, a small slot in the door opened. Mial, seeing nothing since I was still invisible, thrust open the door. The force of the door slammed me to the ground, leaving me gasping for breath. After I caught it, I stood up and made my way over to Mial, who was staring at me, shock clearly written all over his face.

"What do you want?" I hissed. "It's probably around 1 o'clock in the morning!" He sighed before answering.

"Hey, I'm here to get y'all out of here. Trust me, you don't want to still be at this place once the sun come up. Can you spread your invisibility yet?" He explained. Shaking my head, he let out a small groan. "I know you can do it, can you try real fast?" I nodded, and began to concentrate.

Hearing a gasp I looked up and saw, or rather didn't see, Cheryl or myself for that matter. Suddenly, I felt lightheaded, and we both reappeared. As I say down on the grass, Mial grinned and said,

"See, you can do it! But we need to hurry, it was actually around 4 when I came in." I stared at him. Since when did my Mitch time not work?! He continued speaking, "Okay, so I can shift you guys into mice, or something small like that, and put y'all in my briefcase. If anything happens, and it goes down really hard, then I need you to turn both you and Cheryl invisible. Sound good?" I nodded, trying to make sense of what was happening, when suddenly the grass was like a towering forest over my head. As I looked at my new surroundings, I saw Mial's hand reach down and pick me up, cupping me in his hand. Glancing over, I saw a mouse, whom I assumed was Cheryl. Mial moves me from his right hand to his left with Cheryl, and opened up the briefcase. Soon, we were riding inside, and on our way to freedom.
