(Liz's Point of View)
I wake up and stretch in bed after a good night's sleep, but seconds later, the thought of my parents' death stabs me like a broken piece of glass, and I find myself sobbing. As I wipe my tears and sit up, I look around and see all the guys are still sleeping in their beds. I take my phone from under my pillow, turn it on, and see that it's a few minutes past noon. Deciding to freshen up before the guys wake up, I slowly begin to climb down the bunk bed ladder. Before reaching halfway, I see Jason. I smile, seeing him sleep peacefully, and start to take the next step down, but feel my foot slip. Before I know it, I have fallen on top of Jason and woken him up. His eyes open wide, filled with confusion and shock. We both try to move but groan in response to the pain of my fall impact.
(Jason's Point of View)
I wake up to something falling on me and open my eyes in sudden pain. As I realize that Liz has fallen on top of me while trying to climb down the bunk bed, I try to get up to help her but can't as she is still struggling to get up. We both groan in pain from the fall impact, and as she tries to move away, her head hits the roof of the top bunk bed. I move my hand and push her hair out of her face, putting it behind her ears. She looks beautiful as always, and I can't help but stare at her. I hug her, then immediately turn us both to make us lie on our sides. I then proceed to get up from the bed to let her get up as well. She looks embarrassed with red, flushed cheeks and whispers sorry countless times.
"Hey, don't worry. It's not like you have daily practice of climbing down a bunk bed ladder. Everything's fine. You're okay, though, right?"
She nods.
(Liz's Point of View)
As I get up and walk over to my cupboard, Jason goes back to lying in his bed. My cheeks heat up as I think of how embarrassing it was to fall on him.
I open my cupboard and take out everything I need to freshen up. As I walk out of the bedroom, I quietly close the door behind me, so nobody gets disturbed. Based on the noise of my fall, John and Liam must be heavy sleepers.
After I shower, I put on a purple shirt and a pair of jean shorts. I go back into the bedroom to put away my sweats. Seeing that Jason has fallen asleep again and the other two are still asleep as well, I decide to go make some food and let them rest more.
I walk into the messy kitchen and decide to fix the place up before finding something to eat. I've convinced myself that cleaning helps me to clear mind. Ignoring my growling stomach, I continue to clean until I am satisfied that the place looks brand new.
