(Liam's POV)

John and I get our tests done, and it's confirmed that I can donate a kidney. Among our friends, Kiara volunteers to donate blood since hers matches Jason's. Once all the paperwork is completed, we schedule Jason's operation. During this time, Liz has been making a speedy recovery, so we decide to tell her about her pregnancy and Jason's condition, reassuring her that the transplants will happen soon.

TWO WEEKS LATER

(Liz's POV)

Jason's transplants were successful, and his body has begun to slowly recover. Due to the trauma to his body, the doctor said it could take up to a year for him to fully recover and we don't know when he'll wake up from the coma. Hopefully, it will be soon because I can't bear to see him like this. Liam and John are taking very good care of me, ensuring that when Jason wakes up, he won't be disappointed. Every morning, Liam tries new recipes to make sure I eat healthy, and John always makes innovative dinners incorporating my cravings to keep the baby content. I love them a lot for being so caring, but I will only be able to truly smile again when Jason is awake, here with me, taking care of our baby.

Liam has suggested booking an ultrasound for the gender reveal, but I don't want to. I only will when Jason is with me to find out the gender of our baby. He doesn't even know I'm pregnant, but I'm sure when he wakes up and finds out, he will be the happiest man in the world.
