The next morning I decided to cook for Satomi while she was still asleep. Looking through the fridge and cabinets I chose to make omelets.
"Whatcha making?" she asked walking in sleepily
"Have you ever heard of omelets?" I asked her she shook her head "Well they are like tacos but made with eggs and other things" I explained to her
"Sounds good," she said sitting at the table and reading the newspaper
"I was thinking of taking Coco out after I ate if that's alright," I told her
"That's fine, he would love it," she said "I got some stuff for you to do around the house when you get back" she added
"That's fine," I said putting the omelets on plates and setting them on the table. I watched Satomi take a bite of it before biting into mine
"Hm this is really good" she complemented taking another bite of it
"Thank you," I said smiling. Finished eating I cleaned up before taking Coco outside. "I wonder where the closest school is," I thought out loud as we walked down the street. It was a good few blocks before one came up "Kindai High School" looking at the sign outside the gate of the school. There was laughter, turning I saw three girls in uniforms coming toward me
"Yes and he was all like 'you can't have that' and 'oh don't do that'" one girl said
"Oh look," another girl said pointing to Coco
"Aw he's so cute," the girl said before walking up to him. He barked at them defensively
"Sorry he doesn't like strangers," I said petting his head
"It's ok," the first girl said before walking inside the gate with the rest following
'odd' I walked back to the house. Getting back I looked at the list Ms. Satomi left behind
"Oh gosh," I said looking down at the list she handed me
1. Sweep the front porch
2. Clean the bathrooms
3. Do laundry
4. Wash the windows
5. Wash Coco
6. Clean out the attic
"I better get started then," I said heading to the front porch with a broom. I was washing the windows as the sun was setting. I rushed through them before taking Coco outside to be washed "Sorry boy but she said you have to have one" I said spraying him with the hose. He tried to attack the water making me laugh "Stop it" I said spray all around him then rubbing in shampoo. Rinsing him off I added conditioner while doing that he decided to shake "No!!" yelling closing my eyes and holding my hands out. When he was done I wiped my face off before turning around to the windows "Great" seeing it was all over the windows.

"Hon, where are you?" I heard Ms. Satomi say when she got back
"Up here Ms. Satomi," I said popping my head out from the ceiling where the attic was
"How far have you gotten on the list?" She asked
"I'm almost done just cleaning and organizing the attic right now," I said
"Really, let me come up there," she said walking toward the ladder
"Oh don't you'll—" I said before seeing her up here
"You've been busy today haven't you girl," she said looking around at the attic impressed
"Yes ma'am I have"
"Well, come on down, I'll make you something special for doing all this," she said going back down the ladder and toward the kitchen. I followed her
"So what are we making?" I asked
"A pie, basically," she said pulling out the ingredients and a cookbook
"Oo," I said intrigued "let's get started then," I looked at the book. An hour later, we were done and it looked delicious "Let's eat" I said taking a bite of it and humming "This is good" I took another bite
"I don't cook something that I know will not be good" she responded eating it too.
