Husband and a missing girl

For a couple of days, this is how it would be, she gives me a list of stuff to do and I do it then when she came back we would make dinner together. One day while I was dusting I came across some pictures I hadn't noticed before. It was of her and some man beside her. In the pictures, she was smiling and so happy and youthful-looking '

I'll have to ask her about that when she gets home' I thought continuing down the list. 

While we were eating I asked about it "Ms. Satomi did you used to have a husband?" I asked her she put down her fork looking at her plate "I'm sorry if I brought up a topic that's bad. I just saw those pictures over there" pointing to the mantle on top of the fireplace

"His name was Kimji, Kim for short. And it's fine, he died of heart failure a few years ago" she explained

"Oh, I'm so sorry. You two seemed really happy in those pictures" I pointing out

"We were very happy together. We had our bumps but got through them alright," she said

"Do you have any kids?" she shook her head 

"We tried but we could never have one. That's why I have Coco" she said pointing to where Coco was laying "I wouldn't mind if you called me grandma since I never got to be called that" she said

"Sure I would love to call you that," I told her

"Good, you sound so formal calling me Mrs. Satomi," she said jokingly. We talked a little more about each other's past becoming more comfortable with each other.

'I wonder how my parents reacted to finding me gone?' I thought to myself that night before going to sleep.

The day after Railey runaway

"Ms. Railey time to get up," a maid said knocking on Railey's door. She then turned the knob and opened the door to see the covers thrown over 'Railey' 

"Ms. Railey you need to get up," she said nudging her before pulling the covers off. She screeched in shock and fainted. Everyone in the household came running into Railey's room

"What's wrong?" Railey's mom asked as her dad checked on the maid. The mom walked over to her bed and pulled the note that was laying on the pillow 

If you are reading this then it's morning and I'm miles away from here. I couldn't take it anymore with you guys not understand me and limiting me to what I can and can't do. So I ran away, to somewhere far away from here so don't even bother looking for me

The mother read out loud the letter. The father became furious "How could she do this! She is so immature!" He yelled stomping out the door leaving the mother in there. She stood there, processing what has happened. That's when she broke down crying before tearing through the house looking for her daughter. When Railey was nowhere to be found she cried even more. Knowing that her daughter was truly gone and the only people to blame were themselves.
