The next day was a weekend which meant I was working at the ramen shop. I got up and got ready before heading out of the dorm there standing outside the dorm was my mom and dad. I went up to my mom hugging her tightly as she did to me "I've missed you" I said
"I've missed you so much" she pulled back looking at me "I am so sorry for forcing you to do all that. Seeing you now you've grown up so much without us" she said smiling I smiled too then looked at dad "You bailed him out?" I asked
"He still wants you home but I say no and that you are doing fine here. I'm going to take him home and I'll tell you what we decide" she said walking away with him
"Ok thank you, mom," I told her
"Please come to see us sometime," she said I kept walking to the ramen shop
"Who was that man yesterday?" the old man asked when I walked in
"He was my dad, sorry about him" I apologize
"It is crazy doing that out in public and kicking Coco," he said petting Coco's head "Today will be a busy day so get ready," he said cooking the food as I set the chairs up. The day went on with people constantly coming into the shop 'We are really busy today' I thought as I kept cleaning tables then letting people sitting down. By the end of the day we had more people then we had ever had "Why were there many people today?" I asked sitting down to eat he handed me a magazine with us on it and coupons "Oh" I said looking at it
"Yep, that's why," he said cleaning up the kitchen when I was done eating I cleaned up then headed to the dorm.
"Rai-- I mean Laura," Asahi said running up
"Oh hey, you can still call me Railey if you want. I'm used to it now," I told him
"So what happened to your dad?" he asked
"My mom came and took him home, they are going to figure out what will happen. I'm just waiting on them but I think my mom will help me since she saw that I was doing well here" I explained to him
"Well that's good that he's gone," Asahi said I smiled as we continued talking on the way back to the dorm
"Well I'll see you later," Asahi said kissing me before walking off
"See ya," I said smiling as I walked into the dorm.
