NOTICE ME : A Peter Kavinsky Story

Biology Partners

It was the last period of the day, and my only class without Sophia. It sucked but I guess I couldn't complain considering we shared all of them but one.

Mr. Harris's Biology, I had dreaded this class all summer I heard it was one of the hardest to pass, but surely I could pull through it I was pretty smart after all.

I was writing down the bellwork the teacher had written on the board, in my pink glittery notebook with my purple and blue fluffy pen when I saw Peter walk through the door.

"Oh god!" I thought to myself what was Peter doing in here he was a senior!

"Mr. Kavinsky! How nice of you to join us!" The teacher said as Peter gave him a smart ass wave.

"Find a seat!" Mr. Harris said pointing to the lab desks where there were only two to a table.

I looked around and everyone had a person sitting next to them but me. "Oh God!" I kept saying over and over hoping he could talk someone out of their seat but instead he came and sat right next to me.

"Hey brown!" He said with that adorable widened smile he had. My heart was beating rapidly I could hear it in my ears.

"He..hey" I said finaly getting the words to come out of my mouth.

When the teacher started talking, and caught my attention off of the Hot guy sitting next to me.

"I hope you are comfortable with the person sitting next to you in this class, because he or she will be your Lab partner for the remainder of the year in my class" he said looking over at me and Peter and then over to the other kids in the class.

I felt my heart fall into my stomach and I had found myself in a state of shock. "Oh my God, oh my God" I kept reapeating fast in my mind when Peter turned to look at me.

He was silent for a minute as he looked me up and down and then smiled. "You look Camreigh" he said as I locked my eyes with his, and maybe just for a split second I thought that we might have had a moment...

He leaned over close to me and snooped at my paper with my bellwork on it.

"So what is that?" He said being nosey, I smiled a bit and pointed towards the big bold black lettering on the white board at the front of the room that said BELLWORK! on it.

He put his hands together on top of the table top and leaned forward to read it acting like he didn't know it was there.

"Ahhhh...." he said leaning back in his chair and pulling out his phone underneath the desk.

"Peter, aren't you going to do the assignment?" I asked sounding like a complete nerd.

He smiled and laughed at me "I will girl calm down!" He said acting like I was being bossy with him or something.

The more I thought about it the more it made sense, Peter had undoubtedly failed this class and was having to take it again to be able to earn his credit to graduate. Which didn't suprise me I know he slacked off alot but most of the teachers let him. 

Apparently not Mr. Harris, he was a straight forward man who wanted things done right and with the upmost amount of effort put into every assignment you turned in even if it was just a simple bellwork prompt, he expected the best out of everyone...

Great... no pressure or anything. But maybe with my help Peter would make it through the year, but I was also gonna make him work for his grades he wasn't going to cheat off of me.

I glanced over at his phone that was accidentally facing enough in my direction to where I could see who he was texting. It was Destiny, of course sending him pictures of herself at cheer practice, then I remembered my chances with someone like him thinking of me as anything other than Sophia's friend and where I stood in his world and I took my attention off of Peter and on to Mr. Harris.
