"Yo man, thanks for letting me crash here for a few days" I said as I met August outside his house.
He greeted me with a half way handshake "no problem, parents are gone til' Friday on a cruise!... you know what that means?" He said as I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"August, you fool your parents are gonna kill you if you throw another party!" I said but I was all for it, I needed to get wasted and get my mind off of serious shit.
"Oh well! College in the fall Son!" He said giving me a high five trying to talk like a gangster.
"Can we not speak of college right now" I asked politely "Okay. Okay it's all good" August said.
"Come on help me finish these jello shots!" He asked when I had to do a double take.
"Wait your partying tonight? On a Monday? When we have school tomorrow?" I asked as he laughed "hell yes! Seniors only! Except..." he unwittingly rolled his eyes "your little 10th grade girlfriend" he said laughing.
"Hey man. Just cause she's younger don't mean shit!" I said when he agreed, "I know, I know I like Camreigh just giving you shit!" He said as he took the jello out of the cabinet and the vodka and rubbed his hands together like a mad scientist. "Lets get this show on the roll son!" He said when my phone went off.
"Haha, okay one second" I said happy because I thought it was camreigh, because I was just thinking about calling her... but it wasn't.
It was to my suprise a message from Lara Jean Covey on Facebook... talk about random as hell...
It's not that I didn't appreciate someone being kind, especially someone that was from around here that was at the same college I was going to.. I just found it odd and for the lack of the word weird for her to message me out of the blue..Even though it was nothing more than to talk about school. It almost made me feel bad that another girl was hitting up my inbox.
"Dude, get out of your little spaceship over there! And help!" August said shaking his head, and just as I was about to text Cam.
I guess a couple more minutes wouldn't hurt.

Camreigh and Sophia POV:
"Okay so we had little to no homework today, suprise suprise it's close to the end of the year but of course Biology did" Sophia said handing me the work assignment, it was just vocabulary. That was simple I'm pretty sure he just made them do something just so the class wouldn't be sitting wasting time.
Sophia was going on and on about another boy she was interested in but I got lost in my thoughts as I sat in my bay window and looked out it.
"Camreigh! Camreigh!" She said repeatedly until I snapped back into the conversation. "What? Sorry Soph.." I said faking a smile.
"Its okay..." she said huffing, "Kyle can wait." Sophia said with a laugh.
"I know my mom is being seriously too much right now... maybe It's the fact Peter is graduating next week.. and mom and dad seem to be spending less and less time together.. I dont know if Peter noticed but I do. Not that this has anything to do with it but ya know"
She said rambling, she was probably right about that part. Graduation I honestly couldn't believe it was this close... I was happy and sad when I thought about him walking across that stage, when my phone buzzed from the dresser next to me.
Finally it was Peter,
"So how would you like to come celebrate the seniors at a Party tonight" I asked Sophia as she stared blankly at me."Where?" She asked "ummm August Jones's??" I said biting my bottom lip I knew he got on her nerves.
"You do know it's a Monday right?" She laughed.
"I know, I know... but its technically for Peter too??" I said trying to convince her.
She threw her head back and rolled her eyes. "Fine, fine.... when is Peter coming to get us?" She asked.
"At 8!" I said getting excited Sophia never went to parties not with me anyways or any really since her and Trent broke up. And I needed her there... we needed to get back to that closeness we had with one another again if I was gonna survive the next couple of months after Peter left for college.
"Okay. I'm going to go home and get ready then.. text me when it's close to time and I'll come back over don't wanna poke the bear and upset my mom more by telling her where I'm going...."
"Yeah.. good call" I said as we laughed and she left out my bedroom shutting the door behind her.
When I saw a notification from Peter on Facebook, it was a sweet random post.
