Even though August and I had our little spat earlier we manage to brush it off and act like nothing happened.
I was getting ready for his annual Christmas bash when my sister walked in.
"Hello ever heard of knocking?" I said fixing my hair in the mirror. "What were you doing talking to Margot Covey today?" She asked being nosey.
"Um she was mostly talking to August, I wasn't paying her any attention" I said which was true.
"Okay good, because Camreigh saw and I guess maybe she felt a little jealous" Sophia said making me smile.
"Jealous huh?" I said with a smile, I thought it was cute. No doubt I would feel the same way If someone stepped in on my baby.
"Do you need something???" I asked rudely seeing I had to finish getting ready so I could go pick up Camreigh.
"No, not really?" She said still sitting on the edge of my bed snooping around.
"I'm not telling you what I bought her. You can't keep a secret!" I said scolding her and laughing but it was true.
"Oh come on Peter!" She pleaded but I still didn't budge. "Nope! Not gonna happen plus it's not even in here!" I said laughing in her face and forcing her out of the door.
BAE:
I'm ready P ❤
Camreigh's said in a message, it was a good thing we both moved at the same speed and normally got finished getting ready at the same time.
When I got downstairs my mom and dad were waiting beside the isle in the kitchen with a big white envelope sitting in front of them.
"Okay guys I'm leaving!" I said when my mom called me to wait.
"No wait a second you got some mail!" She said with an excited smile on her face.
"Okay? But can It wait Camreigh is waiting on me?" I replied when she gave me a serious glare and slanted her eyes.
"No! It could be important!" She said making me roll my eyes in the back of my head... "fine...." I said closing the door shut again and taking a seat in front of them.
The envelope was thick, and had the words Stanford University in the center of it in big letters.
"Holy shit!" I said when my mother gave me a look. "Sorry!" I said with a grin, but I had forgotten all about applying there... especially since I didn't apply anywhere else.
"Go ahead open it!" My mother gasped when I saw Sophia snooping on the bottom of the staircase behind me.
"Okay!" I said nervously taking the thick sheets of papers out of the envelope.
The first sheet of paper was a letter, "go ahead read it out loud!" My dad said in a proud tone.

Sinceraly,
Dean Sweeney.I felt my heart explode with excitement as I re read it over an over and heard my parents tell me how proud of me they were. Until the reality set in and Camreigh came across my mind and all my feeling of excitement and joy left me and I didn't even want to go.
"Aren't you excited?" My mother said patting me on the back smiling.
"Yeah of course I am....it's just... just...." I said when my father cut me off.
"Son it's just a high school romance most of them end in failure anyway. Don't let a girl keep you from bettering yourself! Especially when we didn't think you would get in anywhere!" He said with a chuckle but it hit me in all the wrong ways and I folded up the piece of paper and shoved it into my pocket.
"I gotta go Camreigh's waiting for me!" I said giving my dad a hateful glare and slamming the door.
"What did I say?" Mr. Kavinsky asked Mrs. Kavinsky and she just shook her head at him.
"Oh honey... you shouldn't have been that harsh with him." She said as she walked away into the den to finish folding clothes.

"Damn you look incredible!" I yelled when Camreigh stepped out of the front door in a Red sparkly sweater and white frosted skirt with tights up to her knees and a pair of sparkly silver heels. Her hair was curled and she looked more stunning than I think I had ever seen her.
She made me bite my fist when she got into the car. "You look fine as hell!" I said making her laugh.
"Thanks!" She said with a giggle as I kissed her and started the car. As we headed to August's house to party.
The night was great, I had the prettiest girl there on my arm and I watched Destiny still gock at me from the other side of the room. She was still so mad that I had actually fallen for someone other than her and that she still had no one.
Camreigh and I danced and popped shot after shot until we both got to hot and had to go outside to cool off.
"Whooo!" Camreigh said sitting on my lap fanning her face from the heat she was feeling. "This is fun!" She said sounding happy, as I was being here with her but the acceptance letter I had received before I left was weighing heavy on me the more I realized how happy Camreigh made me feel... and how much I didn't want to leave her for college this coming summer.
I looked at her dreamy eyed as she continued to talk away. When I blurted out the unexpected "I love you!" I said making her eyes get big and a sweet nervous smile spread over her face.
"What?" She asked me acting like she didn't hear it before.. "I love you Camreigh!" I said suddenly feeling sad knowing I had to tell her about Stanford....
She looked like she was fixing to cry when she put her arms around my neck, as she sat on my lap. "Camreigh?" I said seeing that she looked a little upset.
"Did I say it to soon? I didn't mean to make you upset!" I gasped when she shook her head and smiled. "No, you didn't and I'm happy silly...." she said as she leaned in to me enough to give me a long lasting kiss.
"I love you too Peter Kavinsky!" She said as she looked into my eyes smiling bigger than I had ever seen her smile.
Now telling her about Stanford was going to be harder than before......
