Logan X Reader: Late Night Panic (One-Shot!)

Logan's Cabin

You woke up in the middle of the night, you yawned tiredly and walked into the bathroom and closed the door. Once you finished doing your business, you got up and washed your hands; you looked in the mirror and wiped the sleep from your eyes.

Logan slowly opened his eyes and looked beside him hoping to find you at your side, but you weren't, he quickly sat up beginning to panic.

You looked at Logan's watch siting on the vanity counter, it was almost 2am, you huffed knowing that you had to go to work in 4 hours.

"________?" Logan looked around extremely worried, "__________?!" Logan cried.

You heard Logan call your name; you walked out of the bathroom and saw Logan looking around the room frantically.

Logan looked relieved, "Oh... There you are..." Logan muttered softly.

"Why did you look so frantic?" You asked looking at Logan sleepily, "Oh... You were worried about me weren't you? I knew it! I knew you had a soft side!" You teased.

"Oh shut up" Logan grumbled.

You climbed onto the bed and sat on Logan cupping his cheeks, "Just admit it, you were worried about me" You smiled kissing Logan's forehead.

"No I wasn't..." Logan mumbled.

"Yes you were" You giggled and pinched Logan's cheek.

"Was not... Now go back to sleep... Just promise you'll stay in bed for the rest of the night okay?" Logan muttered softly.

"Awwww... You were scared I left..." You gently pressed your lips against Logan, "I promised you I would never leave Logan, don't worry I'm not going anywhere" You smiled softly.

"I wasn't scared!" Logan snapped, "Now go back to sleep" Logan growled slightly.

"Just admit it" You teased tiredly.

"Will you just go back to sleep?" Logan asked.

"Not until you admit it" You poked Logan's chest smiling.

"I wasn't scared nor was I worried about you, now go back to sleep" Logan gently pushed you off of him, he rolled over and tried to go back to sleep.

"Logan..." You poked his arm, "Logan" You poked his arm again.

Logan tried his best to ignore you.

"Logan!" You poked him over and over again.

Logan turned over and looked at you sitting up, "What?!" He asked.

"I love you..." You smiled and kissed Logan lovingly, "Now come on... Admit it my big teddy bear, you were worried about me..." You smiled.

"I wasn't worried!" Logan shouted rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Yes you were..." You grinned.

"Was not!" Logan shouted, "Now shut up come'er" Logan pulled you into his arms and held you close, Logan lay down with you and tightly caressed his arms around your waist.

You smiled happily and cuddled up to Logan, "Why would you think I would leave you?" You asked looking up at Logan.

"I was just worried something might have happened to you..." Logan muttered softly.

You sat up, "Ha! You admitted it!" You laughed evilly.

"Oh shoosh!" Logan hit you in the face with a pillow.

You giggled and kissed Logan passionately; "Come here my big old teddy bear" You smiled brightly.

"Okay... Now can we go back to sleep?" Logan asked.

"Yes..." You yawned tiredly and lay back down gently resting your head on Logan's chest, "I love you..." You whispered to Logan. "I love you too..." Logan whispered to you holding you close, both you and Logan soon fell sound asleep.

The next morning

Logan slowly opened his eyes seeing you standing in front of the mirror getting dressed; Logan sat up and looked at you up and down smiling. You and Logan had been dating for a quite a while now, it had been almost 3 years.

"I woke up from a nightmare.... When I saw that you were gone I thought that Stryker had taken you away from me again..." Logan sighed.

You turned and looked at Logan, "That's not going to happen again Logan..." You walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

"I can't lose you __________, you're my everything" Logan said sternly.

You blushed and smiled, "You're my everything to Logan, I love you... I have to go to work..." You quickly walked out of the bedroom door.

Logan quickly got up and grabbed your arm and turned you around, "I really mean it" Logan said.

"Well of course I know you mean it... Are you going to get dressed, you have work too you know?" You asked.

"Yes..." Logan looked down realizing he was only in his boxers, Logan smiled innocently and quickly got dressed.

You patiently waited downstairs.

Logan walked downstairs and took the to-go coffee that was in your hand, "Thank you" Logan kissed your cheek and walked out the door.

You smiled and followed Logan out the door; you quickly locked the door and turned around getting into Logan's truck. Logan started the trunk and smiled at you as he drove toward his work.

While Logan was the driving the truck, you turned your head and looked at Logan. Logan looked at you curiously, then looked back at the road. 

"What?" Logan asked.

"Nothing..." You smiled brightly.

"Come on tell me" Logan whined.

"Sometimes I wonder how I could have ever have found such a wonderful man like you..." You looked down blushing.

"How come we always talk about this when we're going to work hm?" Logan asked, "Do you not like dating me?" Logan teased.

"No! No.... I love dating you... Sometimes I just feel like I'm dreaming..." You blushed.

Logan gently pinched you, "That's to prove you're not dreaming princess..." Logan chuckled and pulled into the lumber yard.

You got out of the truck and watched Logan get out of the driver's seat.

He walked away and over to the guys he worked with who were waiting for him.

You leaned against the hood of the truck and cleared your throat holding Logan's axe, you smiled and watched the guys chuckle and chatter amongst themselves, "Get back here hot shot" You smirked.

Logan looked at the guys and chuckled turning around and walking back over to you.

You gave Logan his axe before wrapping your arms around Logan's neck kissing him passionately; you gently ran your fingers through his thick hair. 

Logan grinned into the kiss and slowly pulled away, he turned around and smirked at the guys, he rested the back of the axe on his shoulder.

"I'll pick you up later baby" You smiled before getting into the truck, driving toward an elementary school where you worked at.

Logan got into the back of the truck with the guys.

The guys patted Logan's back and cheered for him, Logan laughed and took out a cigar and lit it, he took a puff and began talking to the guys. "That's right, you better be jealous, I got a beautiful, intelligent, hot girlfriend" Logan smiled happily.
