It had been a really tough time ever since Xavier had brought you here; both your parents had been killed right before your eyes. Your boyfriend had left you because you were a mutant and he thought you were a freak, you only had one friend at Xavier's school and his name was Logan also known as The Wolverine.

You sat on your bed crying your eyes out, you were sick and tired of hurting, sick and tired of all the pain. You felt so alone, you wanted to end your life and stop the hurting, you stood on a chair and wrapped a rope around your neck.

You suddenly heard a knock at the door, "I'm busy!" You called before stepping off the chair.

Logan opened the door seeing you hanging there, he quickly stepped onto the bed releasing his claws, he cut the rope and quickly caught you before you hit the floor.

You quickly hugged Logan panting heavily, you sobbed into his chest.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Logan cupped your cheeks.

"I'm sorry... I just wanted the pain to end...." You cried heavily, "I just... I just... Feel so alone... I have no one..." You sobbed.

Logan gently lifted your head, "You're not alone, don't ever think that... I will always be here for you" Logan gently kissed your forehead.

"No you won't, you're going to leave me... I know you will..." You pushed Logan away.

"I promise I will never leave you" Logan picked you up and carried you to his room, he sat you down on his bed, he pulled up a chair, "Now talk to me..." Logan said.

You shook your head and grabbed a pillow hugging it tightly, "You're going to judge me like all the others" You sniffled.

"I would never judge you" Logan said sternly.

"Yes you will... They always will!" You cried.

"I'm not everybody _________, I care about you a lot! Hell I'd probably die for you I care about you so much!" Logan didn't mean to shout.

You took a deep breath and hugged your pillow tightly.

"Ending your life won't stop the pain... It will just end up passing your pain onto someone else or a lot of other people... If I have to watch you 24/7 ________, I will... Because I'm not going to let you give up on life when you still have so much ahead of you" Logan said sternly.

"I have nothing ahead of me... No one would notice I'm gone... You'd probably learn to forget me..." You mumbled.

Logan got up and sat down on the bed pulling you close, he gently stroked your hair and rested his chin on your head.

"Whatever happens today, I need you to promise me something" Logan said.

You looked up at Logan curiously, "What?" You sniffled wiping your tears from your eyes.

"That you'll never try and do something like that again" Logan replied.

You looked deeply into Logan's eyes, "Only if you promise me... That you'll never leave me... Be my best friend and always be there for me..." You sniffled.
