Slenderman X Reader: Guardian (One-Shot)

It was past midnight and you were trying your best to find your way home, your flash-light was going to die soon and you were roaming around the forest all alone, you walked up to a tree seeing a note nailed to a tree.

You looked at the note curiously, “He’s always watching….?” You rolled your eyes and crumpled the note up, “Teenagers are so annoying leaving these stupid notes around the forest” You through the note on the ground and continued to walk around the forest.

You suddenly saw another note nailed on a tree, “Don’t look behind you…?” You ripped the note off the tree and crumpled it.

“There is clearly nothing behind me…” You turned around; you saw a flash of a black figure.

Than your flash-light suddenly went dead.

“No! No! No!” You cried beginning to get anxious now.

You felt something wrap around you as you quickly tried to run but was picked up by something, this figure knocked you out.


Hours Later



You awoke finding yourself laying in a bed covered in an old dirty blanket, you slowly sat up looking around the dark, run down room.

“Where am I…?” You moaned gently rubbing your head trying to ease the pain; you assumed someone had hit you on the head.

“Somewhere safe…” A dark deep voice whispered in your ear.

You screamed and quickly looked behind you but saw nothing, you than looked around seeing no one, you were alone, you than thought that you were insane, you thought there would be no other explanation.

You took a deep breath, “God dammit I’m going insane…” You muttered softly.

“You are not insane dear…” The dark voice whispered to you again.

“W-Who are you? Show yourself!” You cried.

“Promise to not run away or scream?” The voice asked.

You slowly nodded your head taking another deep breath.

A tall black figure climbed down from the ceiling, the tentacles that were coming out of his back disappeared, this tall figure was wearing a suit and had no face, just pale white skin.

You gasped and quickly covered your mouth.

“W-Who are you…?” You managed to stutter as you just stared at this figure standing feet away from you.

“I am The Slenderman…” He muttered softly and stood at the end of the bed, he leaned over and stared at you, but all you saw was a blank face, he gently moved your hair out of your face.

You looked at this so called ‘Slenderman’ scared; tears began to stream down your cheeks.

“Shhhh…. Don’t cry dear… I’m not going to hurt you…” He whispered to you and gently wiped your tears.

“But if you are the Slenderman…. Y-you take people and they disappear forever, you’re a murderer and a monster!” You screamed.

The Slenderman almost seemed to look down sadly.

You wiped the rest of your tears looking up at the Slenderman curiously, you slowly stood on the bed than carefully stood on the foot of the bed and you were now about the Slenderman’s height.

The Slenderman looked up at you, “I thought you were afraid of me…?” He asked.

You slowly shook your head, “I’m not afraid of you…” You muttered softly.

“But you said I was a monster…” He sighed.

“You’re not a monster… if you were a monster you would have already hurt me or killed me…” You muttered softly and slowly reached for the Slenderman’s hand.

He took a step back.

You lost your balance and fell off the bed.

The Slenderman’s tentacles grabbed you by the ankles, his tentacles turned you right side up so you were now staring at his blank face.

You stared at the Slenderman’s blank face but got your arms free; you slowly wrapped your arms around Slenderman’s neck.

One of Slenderman’s tentacles grabbed your arm.

You sighed sadly looking down, “Please put me down…” You begged.

The Slenderman shook his head; one of his tentacles lifted your chin.

You looked at the Slenderman sadly but wrapped your arms around his neck kissing him, at that point you didn’t really care if he had lips or not, you just continued to kiss him.

The Slenderman wrapped his arms and tentacles around you holding you close.
