Bucky X Reader: One Last Kiss (One-Shot!)

You were hiding from The Winter Soldier. You rarely ever went out in public; you hid out in your apartment most days. You put on all black clothing, you pulled up your hood to hide your face, you walked out of your apartment building and began walking down the street trying to blend in with the crowd.

You were about to cross the street when you saw a man in a black sweater and black trench coat, you gasped seeing the man's metal hand.

You quickly ran in the opposite direction and down an alleyway.

The man chased you down the alleyway pulling down his hood; he took out a 9mm and began shooting at you.

You quickly on top of a dumpster and climbed on top onto the roof of a closed down restaurant, you ran and jumped onto the next roof.

The Winter Soldier climbed onto the roof and took off his black trench coat pulling out two handguns shooting at you.

You gasped and hid behind a chimney as he shot at you.

He soon ran out of ammo and stopped to reload.

You peeked out from behind the chimney and looked at him in the eyes, you saw him pull out a magazine and push it into one of his handguns.

He looked at you and pointed the gun at you.

You quickly jumped off the roof hearing gun shots, you landed in a pile of filled garbage bags next to a dumpster, you panted getting up running out onto the street.

The Winter Soldier jumped off the roof and landed firmly on the pavement, he walked down in your direction.

You saw a black van pull up in front of you, two men jumped out of the truck; you quickly backed away and turned around seeing The Winter Soldier standing feet away from you.

He took off his sweater and through it on the ground along with his hand gun; he took out a pocket knife and charged at you.

You dodged him and ran down the deserted road and hid behind an abandoned car.

"Somebody help!" You pleaded peeking out from behind the car you were hiding behind, you saw the two men hand a rocket launcher to him.

The Winter Soldier shot a missile at the car you were hiding behind.

You quickly ran out from behind the car, the explosion ended up knocking you backward onto the pavement.

The Winter Soldier through the rocket launcher on the ground and walked toward you with a G36C Assault Rifle Airsoft in his hand.

You slowly opened your eyes seeing a blurry figure standing over you, once your vision cleared you realized who it was.

It was the man who had been hunting you for weeks now, all because you worked for S.H.I.E.L.D., you screamed backing away.

"Why are you doing this?" You looked at him horrified.

The Winter Soldier didn't reply just held the tip of the gun to your head.

You suddenly kicked the gun out of his hand and got up running away.

He managed to grab you pulling you toward him, he then shoved you against the car, he was about to punch you with his metal hand.

You quickly dodged hearing the car window smash, you managed to pull away and run away.

Another black van pulled up in front of you, you backed away and turned around, you were grabbed by him once again.

You screamed and cried out for help but no help came.

The Winter Soldier grabbed you by your neck with his metal hand; he gripped your neck tightly.

"Please... Let me go..." You begged, "I don't want to die..." You gasped for air.

He suddenly let go of you and kicked you down.

You fell backward onto to the pavement; you looked up at him and saw him take off his black mask.

"Please, just leave me alone..." You begged backing away.

The Winter Soldier grabbed you by your shirt and pulled you to your feet, he didn't say a word, just stared deeply into your eyes.

You looked deeply into his eyes and wrapped your arms around his neck kissing him deeply.

He looked at you utterly shocked and quite confused, he reached for his knife but his metal arm around your waist.

"I want the last few seconds of my life to be blissful" You muttered softly.

The Winter Soldier pushed you away.

You looked at him curiously, but then you saw him pull out a pocket knife, you closed your eyes waiting for him to charge at you.

He charged at you and stabbed you in the stomach with his knife but kissed you deeply.

You opened your eyes and wrapped your arms around his neck kissing back.

"Blissful..." He mumbled holding back his tears.

You smiled happily before slowly fading.

The Winter Soldier picked you up and carried you into the back of a black van; he sat down holding your dead body close to him. "Bring me to an open field, far from cities, roads and towns" He said sternly. The driver nodded and quickly drove off.

The Winter Soldier carried you onto into a field, he gently lay you on the ground, he stared at you for a few moments noticing a chain around your neck. He took it off you and looked at the dog tags hanging on the chain curiously.

He put the chain around his neck before walking away, he heard two men dump gasoline all over your body and light it on fire.

He turned back and looked at the flames, "Bliss..." He muttered softly. From that day on The Winter Soldier never took the chain off, to him, it reminded him that he wasn't just one of Hydra's projects, that he was also a human being.
