Have you guys heard the new live album???? Shit it's so good and THE OBKY REASON STILL MAKES ME CRYAnyways, here's an update:)))
Calum
"Alright Calum, if you could just finish up packing this last order I'll let you out early today." My boss, Linda, said and I smiled at her.
She was an older lady that I've known pretty much my whole life. She offered me a job at her bakery when she found out I had gotten a girl pregnant.
"Are you sure?" I asked her while starting to pack up some pastries.
"Of course, it's 3:30 right now and I know you're already running late, I'll handle the rest. You've worked hard all day and we're not that busy, it's fine." She smiled at me. "Oh and I made a special batch of chocolate chip cookies for you to take home and give to Eden." She said handing me a bag of cookies after I finished my job.
"Oh good, just what she needs." I said rolling my eyes jokingly.
"She'll love them, and don't worry I was extra careful that they weren't even near anything peanut butter related because I know how paranoid you are." She laughed. It was true though, Eden is allergic to peanut butter and I'm not trying to risk her having it. "Now take the cookies and go pick up your daughter."
"I'm going, I'm going." I laughed putting my jacket on. "I'll see you on Monday. Have a nice night Linda." I smiled at her before walking out to my car and driving to pick up my daughter.
Being late always stressed me out when picking her up, because it happened often and it always worried Eden when I would be late. My work hours are always so close to the time of when I have to get her that it's usually just a few minutes but of course tonight i'm running an hour late.
The drive was short, only about fifteen minutes. Once I arrived I got out of my car and saw Eden sitting outside with someone.
"Daddy!" Eden cried running over to me right as I walked up to her.
"Hey darling." I frowned. "I'm sorry I'm so late." I said picking her up and holding her close.
"You're lucky." Someone scoffed and I looked up and saw it was that amy girl from this morning. "If my daughter hadn't said anything she wouldn't been all alone."
"Well, thank you." I mumbled grabbing Eden's bag.
"Where's her mother anyways? Every child should have a mother figure." she muttered and I rolled my eyes.
"That's really none of your business. now thank you for watching my daughter, but I'm leaving now." I snapped before walking off. "Stop crying darling, I'm right here." I sighed and rubbed edens back.
"Lacey's mommy is mean." eden mumbled as I buckled her into her car seat.
"I have something for you." I smiled holding up the cookies.
