"I don't know what I'm doing." I groaned to Ashton.

He had agreed to come with me to try and pick out a ring and I brought Eden and Parker with us because I thought it'd be fun to have them be a part of it and because Emily had a doctors appointment so I said I'd watch them but maybe it wasn't the best idea.

"Well your first mistake was probably bringing two five year olds with you." He laughed.

"Remember the rules?" I asked looking at the two kids.

"No leaving your side and no touching." Eden giggled and I nodded.

"Okay so, what does she like at least?" Ashton asked as we looked at all the rings.

"Something simple definitely. I don't know. She's not the type to care that much anyway." I said running my fingers through my hair. "Parker what does mumma like?" I asked looking down at him.

"You're going to trust the five year olds?" Ashton laughed.

"Hey, I trust them." I said. "So?"

"Let me see." Parker whined and I laughed picking him up.

"I want to see too!" Eden said and I laughed as Ashton picked her up for me.

"That one." Parker said pointing to a ring that was very simple but definitely spoke Emily to me.

"Yeah daddy, Emmy will love that one." Eden smiled.

"Positive?" I asked.

"Yes!" Parker groaned and I laughed. "You need that one."

"You don't want to look at any other ones first?" I asked, unsure if this ring really was the one.

"Please daddy." Parker said. "Mumma will love it:"

"Okay, okay. Fine." I laughed.

"Alright, remember if Emmy asks what we did today what are you going to say?" I asked the two kids in the backseat as I parked the car.

"We ate lunch and got ice cream." Eden said unbuckling herself. It wasn't technically a lie, we did get ice cream. "And no telling Emmy what we did."

"That's right. Now let's go inside." I said and we all walked inside. Emily was already home and was cleaning.

"Hey, we're home." I said and she stopped and smiled.

"Hey. Did you guys have fun?" She asked and they giggled.

"Yeah." Parker smiled. "We got ice cream."

"You always get ice cream, but I'm glad you had fun." She said hugging him. "Did you have fun Eden?"

"Yeah, we went to lunch and daddy let me get Mac and cheese." She smiled. That wasn't true. I did feed them but they just got chicken nuggets to eat in the car.

"Alright, you two go play." I said quickly so they wouldn't keep talking. "And be good!" I called as they walked away.

"Sounds like you guys had fun." She mumbled hugging me.

"We did, but how's the baby?" I asked pulling away slightly. Today was an extra special appointment because she was supposed to find out the gender and I couldn't go because we didn't want to bring the kids because they still don't know. "What are we having?"

"We're having a baby silly." She laughed. "And it's a perfectly healthy baby." She smirked.

"Come on Em tell me." I pouted.
