This was rushed I'm sorry

Calum

"Are you sure you want to do this, Eden?" I asked, holding her hand as we all walked through the mall.

We had officially gotten the house a week ago and now we're working on moving into it, but of course we weren't going to forget about Edens birthday, which was today. We had to put her birthday party off for a week so that we could focus on moving.

"Yes daddy." She giggled.

"Super sure?" I asked picking her up as we continued walking.

"Super duper sure." She said to me and I nodded. We walked into Claire's where she was going to be getting her ears pierced.

"It might hurt a bit, you know that right?" I said as she sat in the chair.

"Calum don't scare her, she'll be fine." Emily laughed. Eden had picked out some basic studs that she loved and was ready to go. She hasn't showed that she's the slightest bit nervous either, which is good for her, but now she's five and really acting like a real big girl.

"But she's my baby." I pouted.

"I'm not a baby, I'm five." Eden said crossing her arms. She has taken every chance she can to say that today.

"Alright, are we ready to go?" One of the workers said walking over to us.

"Yes!" Eden cheered and I chuckled as the worker started marking her ears.

"Hold my hand darling." I said squatting down next to the seat.

"She's going to be fine Calum." Emily said again and I nodded.

"I know, that doesn't mean she can't hold my hand." I said to her. "Are you ready Eden?"

"Yes daddy." She groaned. I have been asking her that all day long because she hasn't stopped talking about it.

"Okay, you're going to feel a slight pinch." The worker said putting the gun to one of her ears before piercing it. "Good job!" She smiled.

"Did that hurt?" I asked Eden and she shrugged. "They're going to do your other ear now." I said moving to the other side of her.

"Is it pretty?" She asked me and I chuckled at her question.

"Yes darling, gorgeous." I said kissing her cheek. Then they quickly pierced her other ear.

"Okay, you're all done." She said smiling at my daughter who was now grinning.

"Emmy look!" Eden squealed showing her earrings off to Emily and Parker.

"They look great Eden." She smiled.

"Mumma I'm hungry." Parker whined leaning into Emily.

"We're going to eat in a bit Park." She sighed. "Eden's going to pick out some more earrings first."

"I want to go home." He pouted.

"Stop it Parker." She frowned. "What's wrong?"

"I just want to leave." He whined. "Please." He continued. I frowned a bit and Emily looked over at me.

"Why don't you two go sit in the car? We'll only be a few more minutes." I said handing Emily the keys.

"Thank you." She mumbled taking the keys in one hand and grabbing Parker's hand with the other. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine Em." I assured her. "Go, we'll be quick. Think about where you want to go for lunch." I said giving her a quick kiss and she nodded, walking out with Parker.
