Shivika: Its Our Love Story

Around midnight:

Anika gets up with a jerk because of the nightmare she got. Sweat beads form on her face and she gets scared because of the dream. She immediately takes the glass near to the bed and drinks water. She was about to place the glass on the table but the glass falls down. Shivaay who heard the sound comes running to her room. He gets shocked to see Anika's panic stuck face.

He sits next to her and cups her face.

S: Anu...kya hua? Aisi dari huvi kyu lag rahi ho? Anu..kuch bolo..

A: Shiv..mumma..accident..khoon..Shiv khoon hai..

She hugs him tightly and cries. Shivaay did not understand what to do. He just held her tightly in his arms and soothes her rubbing his hand on her back.

S: Kuch bhi nahi Anu..Dekho yaha kuch bhi nahi..Sab kuch theek hai..Shiv hai na yaha! Daro mat..Shiv sab kuch theek karega..Shh!

A: Shiv..mumma..accident..

S: Kuch nahi..Everything is fine now..

He does not get any response from her. She gets unconscious. He made her lie down on the bed. He tapped her cheeks. She did not give any reply. He rushed to kitchen and brought a glass of water. He came inside and sprinkled water on her face. Anika opens her eyes slowly.

Shivaay places the glass aside and sits next to her. She tries to get up and he helps her to sit properly on the bed. He moves close to her and cupped her face.

S: Anu kya hua? Aise achanak se...Is everything fine?

A: Woh..bura sapna tha..

Tears made a way into her eyes. His heart pricked to see them. He brought his hand close to her eyes and wiped her tears. He did not want to ask further as she may get hurt. Shivaay remembered doctor saying that she gets panic attacks.

S: Anu where are your medicines?

A: Uss box mein hai..

He nodded and took out the medicine and gave it to her. She had it without saying a word. Shivaay placed his hand on hers. She looked at him. Her face was pale and he did not like it.

S: Anu?

A: Hmm..

S: Tum abh theek ho na?

A: Ha..Shiv!

S: Kya hua?

A: Tum mujhe chod ke kahi nahi jaoge na? Mumma ki tarah?

S: Bilkul nahi...Shiv apni Anu ko chod ke kahi nahi jayega! Yeh Shivaay Singh Oberoi ka waada hai meri Anu se! Aisa kabhi mat sochna tum...

Anika looked into his eyes. Shivaay moved close to her. He held her face in his hands and came close to her. He kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes.

S: This is my promise Anu!

Slowly Anika placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes. His hands wrapped her tightly in his embrace. She felt peace. He felt proud on himself to see her face showing a small smile. He slowly soothed her hair and planted a kiss on the top of her head.

His touch seemed same like her mother's touch. Her heart wanted his touch to stay with her forever. She didn't knew when she dozed off into sleep. After a while Shivaay looked at her. She was sleeping peacefully. She was holding his kurta tightly in her fist fearing that he might leave her.

Shivaay made her lie down on the bed. He fell on her because her locket got struck to his kurta button. He slowly freed her locket and raised a little. He gently tucked her hair strands behind her ear.
