Fury!

Chapter XIII

"So how long is this going to go on?" I sighed with Rita stuck to one of my arms, while Alecto was on the other. "What? You don't like having two girls fighting over you?" The blonde chuckled. "No. I already get enough hugs from Tisiphone." I replied. The Fury in question was trailing behind us being kicked from my arm. "Obviously, I will win his affection." Alecto stated hugging me tighter. "No way! He loves me more!" Rita yelled pulling me towards her. "No!" The smaller of the two screamed yanking me closer to her. "Hey!" I interrupted. They both looked at me with smiles. "Yes?" The girls answered simultaneously. "This isn't really sharing. Just stop fighting and calm down." I sighed. "Fine..." Rita agreed let go of my arm. "Okay..." Alecto mumbled releasing me from her grip.

After everyone left to go to sleep, Tisiphone stayed. "Why do you only talk to me?" I asked taking a seat on the sofa. "I told you... You are special..." She mewed sitting next to me and resting her head on my shoulder. "How?" I laughed quietly. Tisiphone thought for a moment, then giggled. "I... You are kind... You are so relaxed and calm unlike my Sisters..." She whispered. "I see..." I replied putting my arm around her. After a few minutes, Tisiphone fell asleep. "I guess I'm kind of glad I met you girls..." I snickered to myself. When I said that, the youngest Fury gave a tiny smile.

Later I fell asleep too, and woke up in the middle of the night. Tisiphone was gone, and it was dark. "Are you awake?" I heard Alecto ask from behind me. "Try asking something a little less creepy. How about: 'Can we talk'?" I yawned turning around and seeing two red eyes. "Perhaps next time this happens." She replied happily. "So what's up?" I laughed. "I was only curious why you were not in bed." Alecto giggled. I decided to turn in a light. The oldest Fury was standing in front of me and staring. "You said your reason for saying was because you don't like Hades, right?" I questioned. "Well... I despise Lord Hades..." She mumbled. Alecto stopped to think for a minute. "My Sisters and I stay here because of you." She murmured while her face went a bit red. "You're so cute, Alecto." I snickered. The Fury then embraced me tightly. After hugging, Alecto went to bed and I decided to stay up a little while longer. "You surprise me." Megaera sighed stepping out of the shadows. "W-what do you mean?" I asked being a bit startled. "You seem to be very important to my Sisters and... Myself..." The Fury whispered taking a seat next to me on the couch. "I knew you would fall in love with me." I laughed putting my arm aroud her. "I never said that." She growled despite letting me keep me arm around her... "Although, you do mean something to me... So I will protect you from Lord Hades, I suppose." Megaera continued refusing to look at me. "Thanks." I yawned. "Hey." I said after awhile of silence. "Yes?" She answered quietly. "Remember when I kissed you?" I whispered with a grin. The girl hesitated, then blushed. "Of course." Megaera replied trying to hide her face. "Why didn't you just kill me then?" I questioned. "You and I both know that my Sisters would never forgive me..." The middle sister stated. "Is that the only reason you let me live?" I grinned. She didn't say anything, but took her hand and put it on my cheek. "What are-" She interrupted me. "Silence." Megaera ordered sitting up and gazing straight into my eyes. She leaned in closer until our faces were so close I could feel her gentle breaths hit me, then she placed my head against her chest. 'Why'd you have to be wearing armor?' I thought. I decided it was best not to say anything though. We stayed like that for a minute or two, and then the middle sister went back to her previous position under my arm and fell asleep. Not long after, I did too...
