Fury!

Chapter XVI

"Hey, We're back." I sighed opening the door. "Yay!" Alecto yelled running up and hugging me. "If you missed me that much from being gone for an hour, you're going to hate when I go back to school..." I chuckled as the other Furies approached. "Hey! I hope you guys were good!" Rita greeted optimistically walking inside. "We did not break anything." Megaera assured. "Good!" The blonde smiled. "You're only happy because I have to carry everything..." I growled. "How can you be so insensitive? I have an injury." Rita grunted pointing and her bandaged forearm. "Yeah, yeah." I groaned carrying the groceries to the kitchen. "Well, I'm gonna have a nap. I've got to get to school tomorrow." I announced heading for my room. "I cannot wait!" Alecto exclaimed jumping on to my back. "No. It doesn't work like that." I replied trying to support the Fury on me. "Aw..." She mumbled pouting. Actually, I already told the school that we're going to be receiving three new transfer students." Rita interrupted. "You did...?" I asked. "Yup, I'm not about to leave these girls alone every day for six hours, plus they need to get out of the house." She laughed. "Fine, but under one condition." I stated. "Hmmm?" Alecto purred into my ear. "Y-you need to where different clothes for school." I answered getting a shiver down my spine. "What is wrong with my armor?" Alecto whined finally hopping off my back. "First of all, you need to wear a school uniform. Second of all, I wouldn't let you leave in underwear." I informed the tiny Fury. "I think I have a uniform from when I was younger, she could wear that." Rita added. "That will do." I sighed. "Yay! I get to go to school!" The small girl shouted following Rita into her room.

I was heading to my bed, when I heard a loud crash come from Rita's room. "What was that?" I yelled. "Just my armor!" Alecto shouted back from behind the door. My mind started to fill with thoughts of the Fury without her bulky armor covering her and my face started to heat up. "Just one peek couldn't hurt..." I murmured with a sly grin. I then snuck a look though the gap between the open door. Alecto was completely naked on her top half, but turned in the other direction. "Damn..." I muttered. "What do you think you are doing?" Megaera bellowed from behind me. "It's not what it looks like." I tried to convince. "Lies." The middle Fury hissed as she grabbed my hair and dragged me away.

"Let go of me!" I demanded as we reached the living room. "I should kill you where you stand." Megaera threatened. "Didn't we go over this?" I asked getting a bit angry. " If you really wanted to, why haven't you slash me to pieces with your claws yet?" I continued. "Because my Sis-" I cut her off. "You're so full of yourself. Why do you always have to act so bitter towards me, even though you clearly like me?" I questioned. "I..." She muttered looking at the floor. "I'm sick of this!" I exclaimed throwing my hands up. "I-I threaten you because I don't want you to love me like you do my Sisters..." The Fury sighed crossing her arms. "I... Do like you, but I cannot love you." She added quietly. "Why not!?" I yelled. "We are both doomed, Lord Hades will devour us all, I just do not want Him to take more from me..." She whispered. "What else did he take?" I asked calming down. Megaera let out a long sigh. "Lord Hades is an awful being... My Sisters and myself were aligned to him before you, He would do unspeakable things to us... Make us His playthings... The reason Tisiphone does not speak is because she was tortured. Sister used to be so proud and lively, but as the years went by Tisiphone became quiet and eventually stopped talking altogether... Now she is terrified of even a simple touch... Alecto was following the same path, but then she fled." The middle Fury explained. "I... Didn't know, I'm sorry." I apologized rubbing my neck. "Just do not mention anything I told you to my Sisters..." She replied holding her arm. "Don't worry, I won't." I smiled. "Good." Megaera sighed. "One last thing..." I added. "Wha-" I interrupted her by giving her hug. "You can lighten up a little, I understand now." I said silently. "Fine." She answered pushing me away. Then she blushed, pulled me back into her and kissed me on the cheek and embraced me again...
