Fury!

Chapter XI

I woke up at around 4:00am, but something was wrong. Megaera wasn't asleep beside me like she usually was. "Son of a..." I sighed carefully taking Alecto off of me and prying Tisiphone from my arm trying not to wake them up.

I walked into the kitchen looking for her and yawned. "Why are you awake at this hour?" Megaera whispered from the sofa. "I should be asking you the same thing." I grunted opening the fridge for a snack. "I... Could not sleep..." She answered. "And why's that?" I said finding nothing and closing the refrigerator. The middle sister only whined a little. "You can tell me." I laughed sitting next to her on the couch. "It was... Because of what you did." The Fury muttered crossing her arms. "What was that?" I asked pretending not to hear her. "It was because you kissed me!" She replied glaring at me while blushing. "Oh..." I sighed. "Why do you sound...?" She asked giving me a strange look. "It's just that I have three girls that completely adore me, adding one more isn't gonna change much." I shrugged. Then Megaera slapped me, really hard. "I am not an addition to your collection of women!" She hissed. I didn't say anything. "Although, I do not hate you..." The middle Fury added looking at her lap. I still didn't answer. "You have acquired both my Sisters' affection..." She continued. "But not I." Megaera stated. "I see..." I grumbled. "No, you do not see." She argued. "You're probably right." I agreed while nodding my head. The girl hesitated for a minute, then told me she wanted to be alone. "Fine... Just don't stay up too late." I laughed quietly. "Begone!" The middle sister commanded. I shrugged turning around. "Remember, I'll always be there for you." I said walking back to my room. When I entered, Alecto and Tisiphone were awake. "Where were you?" Alecto asked jumping off the bed and on to me. "Nowhere special." I answered with a smile. "Were you with Sister?" The oldest sister whined. I said nothing. "You were! No fair!" She complained. "Calm down, Nothing happened. " I reassured. "Lies!" The Fury argued still clinging to me. "Megaera isn't really that fond of me..." I yawned. "Good." The tiny girl mumbled with her face red." Come on, let's go to bed. We don't wanna feel Rita's wrath tonight..." I laughed. "Alright." She giggled. Tisiphone nodded and we all climbed into bed. With Alecto on top of me and Tisiphone on my arm, I slowly fell asleep once more, until Megaera opened my door and climbed into bed. I was glad to bee her back...
