Keith soon had to go back to pilot the black lion. He'd promised Ash he'd tell the others, but Ash didn't know how they'd react. She felt like she'd still be better off dead.

And she hated herself for that.

The almost silent buzzing of the black lion came to a halt, signifying to Ash that they'd landed. Where? She had no clue. She heard the door slide open, and turned towards it, seeing Keith with a soft smile on his face. The soft noise of his shoes against the tile filled the room as Ash watched him approach the couch.

He held out his hand as Ash sat up. She hesitated, but nonetheless took his hand. She reached up with her free one and took ahold of his shoulder for support.

Keith slowly hoisted her up. She put pressure on her foot, but her legs felt like jello. Her knees buckled. Thankfully, Keith caught her easily due to his strength.

No words were exchanged between the two as Keith led her down the small hallways. They halted at the opening, the lions mouth.

Keith gave her hand a reassuring squeeze as the light made Ash loose her sight for a few moments. Shouting filled her ears. She used one of her arms to cover her eyes from the light, and she felt Keith's grip on her tighten.

Her eyes slowly adjusted as she brought her arm down. Keith nudged her forward, and helped her walk down the runway of the lion. Ash averted her gaze to the floor.

She soon felt soft earth consume her shoes. Ash looked up to Keith to see him smiling down at her. He helped her stand on her own. The ringing in her ears and shouting soon died. Before she could take in her surroundings, she felt her feet leave the ground.

"Ash! Oh my god... oh my god, your okay!" Came Lance's voice. He had run at Ash and brought her to the ground in a secure hug. One arm was planted in the earth, supporting Lance. The other was wrapped around Ash protectively, holding her close to his chest.

"Lance..." she whispered. She reached her arms up over his neck and gripped the thin fabric of his paladin armor. Lance pushed himself off the ground, taking Ash with him into a sitting position. Ash wrapped her legs around his waist as she sat in his crossed lap. She felt Lance's arms come up and embrace her tightly, one of his hands traveling up to cradle her head. He slowly began rocking her back and forth, his soft sobbing filling her ears.

"Lance.. please don't cry," she whispered, on the verge of breaking down herself. She reached up her left hand and slowly traced circles on the back of his head, in an attempt to calm him. Lance pulled away and cupped Ash's face in his hands. He took his thumb and carefully traced the slowly healing cut on her face.

"I, I was so scared that I'd lost you," he whispered. Ash closed her eyes into his touch, a few tears falling off of her cheek. He rubbed them away gently with the pad of his thumb.

Ash sat in silence for a moment before quickly cuddling back into Lance. Lance let out a long sigh as his arms slowly travelled up to her back. Ash retangled her fingers into his dark hair.

The group said nothing as soft smiles appeared on all of their faces, including Keith.

"Aight aight, we missed Ash too, give us a turn Lance," Hunk pouted, crossing his arms. Hesitantly, Lance let out a grumble and stood up, Ash still wrapped around his body.

"But I'm comfortable," she whined, clinging onto Lance tighter. The group all let out a chuckle. Hunk walked up to Lance and easily plucked Ash off of the front of Lance, which she immediately turned around and clung onto Hunk.

She laughed with the rest of them as she let herself down and gave him a proper hug. She felt Pidge come up from behind her and enclose her from behind. A grin came across her face as Keith and Lance walked over and joined the hug.

"Hey, don't hog my sister for yourselves," came a familiar voice. The hug was released, giving Ash a few of Shiro, sitting in the Earth, his hair turned completely silver.

"Shiro," she breathed. Ash walked over to him and kneeled down in front of him. They made eye contact for a few moments before Ash threw herself on him, Shiro grabbing ahold of her.

"Looks like we both made it after all," he whispered. He felt Ash nod into his neck, a soft smile coming across his face.

"Hey look, we match now," Shiro laughed, pointing at Ash's cut and his own scar.

"You're such a dork," Ash whispered jokingly. "You should act like it more often."
