Ash sat up, groaning due to the pain. There was a warm cloth with an unknown substance pressed to the back of her head.
"W-what happened?" She asked. The setting was unfamiliar to her. The group sat around a fire; along with a member she had no knowledge of.
Keith turned towards her at the sound of her voice. He ran over to her and knelt beside her.
"You we're knocked unconscious during one of the fights. We found a Blade distress signal. We brought you here with us, hoping whoever sent it would be able to help."
Ash felt something stir against her. She looked to see Keith's large cosmic wolf laying beside her; it's paws draped over her stomach protectively.
She smiled; but turned to Keith.
"Whose that?" She whispered, pointing to the strange member. He had a strange white and tan mask on his face; with a hood draped over it.
"You'll find out soon enough," Keith stood and walked back over to the group. The conversation was drowned from her ears as she lay back on the makeshift pillow.
Keith walked over to Krolia, Ash watched as they mourned their fallen blades. Krolia grabbed a familiar blade; Kolivan's.
"He must still be alive; a Blade's life force is connected to their blade; I just saw it glow," Krolia breathed, turning to the group. The strange member did not move.
"Just... barely," he stated. The group turned to him in shock. He finally stood, and turned to Keith.
"Your hand is looking much better," he drawled.
"My... hand?" Keith questioned, a look of confusion and defense coming across his face.
"You don't remember our fight?" The alien drawled. Keith's face morphed into fear and recognition. His Bayard extended into his sword.
"You've been using that signal to draw blades in!" He accused. The rest of the Paladins formed their weapons. The creature let out a wild cackle.
"Kolivan proved to be useful after all." Ash stood up and scuttled over to Keith, her tail curled around him in fear. A stone was dropped in place of the alien. Krolia tried running towards it; but it was too late.
The cosmic wolf teleported Keith and Ash away; the others were frozen in time. They were teleported to a tunnel.
Keith spotted a flash of purple in a deeper section of the tunnel. He grabbed Ash and pulled her away from the direction.

The battle went on for many moments; it was near impossible to hit the Druid due to his teleportation. Ash and Keith continued to dodge his blows; minus the few that made it past their guard.
The cosmic wolf helped them dodge the majority of the blows from the Druid. The eventually were teleported to a room with a light blue tint.
Keith turned and saw a body hanging from the ceiling; Kolivan.
"Hang on! I'll get you out of there," Keith breathed. But the Druid appeared again. The fight continued. Blade met with blade, fist met with face, it was grueling.
The Paladins showed up; how they became unstuck Ash didn't know.
She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her neck as she fell to the ground. She turned herself over to come face to face with the Druid.
She squirmed underneath him as everyone came to a halt, wondering what he'd do next. He placed a hand to her cheek, making Ash feel very uncomfortable.
"And all this time I thought they were myths," he said with a wicked smile. "But not to fret Paladins, I couldn't kill the child if I wanted to. This has proven that her race is no longer hiding in the shadows; but right out in the open, under our noses. The race of a the Wolven were rumored to have roamed the galaxy long, long ago. Until they mysteriously disappeared. Nobody knew what happened."
The Paladins gazed at him confusedly, not letting their guard down.
"The markings, the ears, the tail, and her ever so pretty eyes. Her transformation symptoms begin with a cold body temperature, only to be warmed up by the touch of someone she loves. It will take place over the course of three days... exactly twenty weeks from their seventeenth birthday. Such mysterious creatures they are."
Everyone's faces morphed into recognition. The symptoms matched her exactly. The only people who were able to warm her were...
"Lance... Keith..." she whispered, turning her head to them. Their eyes widened as the same thoughts ran through their minds.
The Druid smiled wickedly again. Ash felt another sharp pain in her neck; and was immediately knocked unconscious again.
"Gotcha," he laughed before disappearing. Keith, filled with rage at the sight of Ash's lulled body, her eyes wide and staring at nothing in particular, closed his eyes. Fought with all his mind; until-
Clink, he threw his blade, and it landed right on target. Through the heart of the Druid.
