The bell rings and I have no choice but to go into my new classroom, which happens to be right next to the President's room. At least it's nearby. Mayumi, unfortunately, says her class is in another block.

"Only the Class 1s of every level are here," she says slightly bitterly. "The Elite Block."

She disappears after that, so I enter. No one looks at me. Yay. Being invisible is actually okay. No one bullies you or judges you when you're practically invisible to them.

I sit down at a desk in the corner and stare at it. Even the desks are perfect. They're glossy and smooth and clean. Sheesh, everything about this school is so perfect. I chose a desk next to the window so I can jump out if class gets too boring. Okay fine I wouldn't do that. I chose it for the view.

"It's so nice," I say to myself. It looks like another world out there.  I spot the different blocks Mayumi told me about. The Elite Block, which I'm in. The Culture Gardens, where there are pretty Japanese gardens  and all the tea ceremonies are held there. The block which everyone just calls the cafeteria block. And many other blocks which I don't recognise. Wow. Hope I don't get lost.

A girl taps my shoulder.  "Can I sit here?"

"Oh, uh, yeah," I say, smiling awkwardly.

"I'm Yuki," she squeaks, smiling.

"Hi, I'm(Y/N)."

"You're new?"

I nod. She squeals again "Cool! Welcome to our school! By the way, I belong to the Student Council and I'm the Treasurer!"

Can I go back to staring outside already? I feel slightly irritated as I nod at her. I just want to be antisocial for a while. Leave me alone, please;). But I try to be nice, because Yuki seems nice. She points at the buildings outside the window and tells me about them one by one. Finally, I'm more interested.

I ask about the cafeteria block. I've been wanting to go there. Yuki exclaims "That's my favourite block! Every level is different! The first level is all Japanese food. You know, ramen and soba and udon and tempura and takoyaki and and the cakes and ice cream! The second level is other Asian food! They're all like a food court, of course. So there's like, Vietnamese pho, and Thailand's mango sticky rice and green curry and also a dish called nasi lemak and also Korean food like kimchi ramen! Plus, I recommend the chicken rice! Okay, anyway. And then the third level is the Western food, like burgers and fries! It's really good! The fourth level is the junk level, with MacDonalds' food and Starbucks and bubble tea and KFC and Burger King and Mister Doughnut and Dunkin' Donuts! I swear it's good! And then the top floor is all vending machines and drinks. Plus you can buy cup noodles there and then ask the lady to pour in hot water and eat there! The vending machines sell everything."

I nod and try to keep up with Yuki. She's obviously overly hyper, and crazy. Okay. At least she's not like those gossipy girls.

The teacher walks in, thankfully. Yuki stops and takes out her books. The girls and boys all head back to their seats. The teacher pushes up her glasses, which are falling off. "I am Sensei Ayuzawa."

Some of the guys laugh loudly. I almost feel like laughing too. Same surname as Misaki, but the difference between them! Misaki is young and pretty and cool. On the other hand, Sensei Ayuzawa...no comments.

--time skip--

After class, I walk out and try to find the exit so I can go to the cafeteria block. However, since I was packing up too slowly, almost everyone is gone. I don't remember the way in. I had depended on Mayumi for that. Stupid me.

I walk down the empty hallway, looking for an exit sign. There has to be some exit signs around, right? I mean, isn't it required for buildings and all?

At the other end of the hall, I see a guy walking. He has bright yellow hair and is reallyyyy tall. He walks like he owns this place, with an arrogant smile. I decide to ask him.

"Uh, sorry, do you know the way out?" I ask shyly.

He comes closer and I see his eyes are golden. Unusual.

"Excuse me?" He says politely.

I repeat my question.

He sighs. "A new student?"

I nod.

He puts on this dazzling smile. Uh, what is his motive? "Welcome to Miyabigaoka, then. The exit is that way. Learn to find your way around," he says, smiling at me.

"Thank you," I mutter and I turn around to leave.

"And what is your name, girl?" he asks.

"(Y/N)(L/N)," I say quickly, just wanting to leave and go find Mayumi.

He doesn't reply, and I hear a door opening and swinging shut. When I look back, he's gone. The door to the President's room is slightly open. Hmm. So he's some friend of the President?
