Well we were now down for the count, any day I could have this baby. Part of me wishes he would just come now, this is agony.

"Come out." I said, looking at my huge stomach. "I'll give you whatever you want, just come out."

Ryan was going to be home all day, so that meant video games and streaming, checking on me and eating when he felt like it. He's been in that damn den all day.

"Ryan!" I called. A few short seconds later and Ryan came up from the downstairs den, a worried look on his face.

"What?"

"I can't get off the couch." I sighed, looking at him. Ryan walked over and held out his hands so I could pull myself up. "This baby needs to come out."

"Not right now though cause I'm in a game."

"Seriously?" I said, looking at him. "I'm very pregnant, don't even mention video games to me."

"Noted."

I walked to the bathroom, did my business and washed my hands, going into the dining room. I sat down at the dining room table and sighed.

"This is as far as I'm going, kid." I sighed again, resting my forehead on the table. "Ugh."

"You're not sitting at the dining table all night." Ryan said, chuckling. "Come on, keep me company in the den."

"If you think I'm walking down those steps, you're wrong."

"I'll take you back to the couch." I got up, Ryan slinging his arm around my shoulder. "Just think, our little baby boy will be here." Ryan smiled.

"He needs to come sooner, this is tiring." I said, sitting back down on the couch.

"Give it time." Ryan bent down and kissed me on the lips. "I love you." He smiled.

"I love you too."

"I'm gonna get back to my stream. Call if you need anything." I nodded my head and watched Ryan walk back downstairs to our den.

Ryan's POV

An hour had passed and I was still streaming to my fans as I started another round of Fortnite. I was on a roll today with kills and placing first a couple times.

I had my character running around, collecting things when my phone lit up. I looked down and saw Brianne texted me.

Brianne: It's time!!!

No, no! It can't be time! I'm in the middle of a game! I sighed, looking at my TV screen and back down at my phone.

"Ugh, okay." I sighed again. "Hold on, guys." I took off my headset and ran out of the room, going upstairs. "Where's your bag?" I asked, panicking as I looked at Brianne.

"It was a false alarm, I'm sorry." She frowned at me.

"Don't do that to me!" I sighed and went back to the den, picking up my game. "Sorry, Brianne had me thinking the baby was coming, it's all good." I smiled a bit. I looked down at my message board and chuckled as I saw people freaking out about Brianne and the baby.

"She's okay, I promise. It's our first baby, so I think the tiniest pain she feels we're both going to flip over." I laughed.

"I heard that." I looked over my shoulder and saw Brianne walking down the steps.

"What are you doing down here?"

"There's really nothing to do upstairs, so I figured I'd join you down here." Brianne smiled, sitting next to me.

"Okay."

***************

Halfway into my game I saw Brianne squirming in her seat.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, my back just hurts."

"You sure you're okay?"

"Yeah." She said, standing up. "I'm going up to the bedroom to get some sleep." She said, kissing my cheek. Brianne went up the steps and I continued with my video game.

I don't know much about pregnancy, but I'm pretty sure Brianne's going into labor. Something doesn't seem right. I finished up my stream and called it a night, going upstairs to check on my wife.

"You're in labor." I told Brianne, walking into the bedroom.

"What? No."

"You are!"

"Ryan, my back was hurting from that chair." She laughed. "I'm fine."

"No, no you're not." I shook my head, disagreeing. I took out my phone, looking at my clock and then over to Brianne.

"What are you doing?"

"Timing your pain."

"The only pain I'm having is you. I'm fine, calm down." Brianne sighed, rolling her eyes. I changed into a pair of loose shorts and climbed into the bed, sitting next to Brianne.

"You're going to get on my nerves real quick."

"It's my job as your husband." Brianne groaned and pulled the covers over her body.

"Goodnight, Ryan."

***************

I looked at my phone screen, seeing it was almost three in the morning. Brianne shifted in the bed, turning her head and opened her eyes.

"Ryan?" She yawned. "What are you doing?"

"Watching you."

"Are you kidding me?" Brianne sighed, sitting up. "Ryan, you need to get some sleep, you're going to be exhausted."

"You sure you're okay?"

"Yes, aside from being tired. Go to sleep, Ryan." Brianne laid back down, closing her eyes. I got myself comfortable and turned on my side, placing my arm loosely on Brianne's stomach. "Ryan."

"I'm going to sleep, I promise." I closed my eyes and was shortly surrounded by darkness.

***************

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed and freaked out, jumping out of bed and ran downstairs.

"Brianne? Brianne!"

"What? What are you screaming for?" She asked, emerging from the kitchen.

"You weren't in the bed." I breathed out.

"I am allowed to move to other rooms in our house, Ryan." She laughed. "Eat some breakfast."

"But, pregnant!" I said, following her into the kitchen.

"Yes, but I don't have to be confined to the bedroom." She said, handing me a bagel.

"I'd keep you up there." I mumbled, taking a bite out of my bagel.

"What?"

"Nothing." Brianne sat across from me, smiling.

"Ryan, I'm okay. I understand you're worried about everything, trust me I am too. But driving yourself crazy isn't going to help." She said. "Until then, stop raising your blood pressure and mine."

I took Brianne's hand in mine and brought it to my lips, gently kissing it. "I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too."
