Brianne's POV
"So are you and Ryan planning to have another gender reveal for baby number two?" Jaime asked.
"We just found out." I laughed. "Though I think Ryan wants to wait until I give birth, he's got his heart set on a girl."
"What do you want?"
"Doesn't matter, healthy." I smiled.
As long as we got a healthy baby in our hands, that's all that matters to me and Ryan.

Later in the evening, I was upstairs folding some of the laundry when I heard Ryan yelling for me at the top of his lungs.
"BRIANNE! BRI, COME DOWN HERE!" He yelled. I tossed the clothing out of my hands and ran down the steps, nearly falling on my face.
"What?! What are you screaming about?!"
"He's walking!" Ryan exclaimed, pointing towards Carson who was staggering along the living room.
"Oh my god, his first steps!" I cried, coming down the rest of the steps. "Look at my big boy walking!"
I crouched down and smiled as Carson made his way over to me, falling into my arms. I cheered and smiled, kissing him on the cheek as he walked towards his dad.
"I am glad you waited until I was home to see this." Ryan laughed, picking up Carson.
"Ryan."
"Well I am, I didn't want to miss his first actual steps. Daddy's little man, haha!" He smiled and planted a kiss on the top of Carson's head.
"When our new baby takes their first steps, could you not scream like a tragedy happened?"
"I'll try my best." Ryan smiled over at me.
I shook my head and walked back upstairs to the bedroom and resumed folding the laundry again. I can only imagine how Ryan's going to act with two children in the house.
"I can't believe he walked today!" Ryan cheered, coming into the bedroom with Carson.
"Well he was bound to do it sometime."
"And I got to witness him walking! I really thought I was going to miss out."
"Can I ask you something?"
"What's up?" Ryan asked, sitting on the bed with Carson.
"Are we going to be okay with two kids in the house?"
"Why wouldn't we?"
"We're both busy with our careers. I just don't want someone to feel like there's no support or lack of support from the other side." I sighed, sitting down.
"You worry too much." Ryan stated, rubbing my shoulder.
"I'm a mother, it's my job."
"I'm gonna need you to tone it down to about a three, you're at a ten." He giggled, smiling at me.
"Look who I'm married to, I've never been able to get it down to a three." I laughed, laying back and putting my head in Ryan's lap. "You bring it down to a three."
"Let me put Carson to bed and I will." Ryan winked at me. He got up from the bed and I placed the laundry basket on the floor next to the bed.
About fifteen minutes later, Ryan came in and closed our bedroom door with a small smirk on his face. I smiled over at him and patted the spot next to me, licking my lips. Ryan knelt on the bed and I knelt in front of him, placing both of my hands on either side of his face, smiling.
"I'm just glad to have you home safe." I smiled, brushing my thumb along Ryan's cheek.
"I always promise to come back home. I don't ever want to leave you or our kids behind, ever." Ryan whispered, kissing the palm of my hand. "Brianne Sitkowski, you are my best friend and my world."
Ryan wrapped his arms around my waist and gently laid me down on our bed, resting in between my thighs. I let out a small giggle and put my arms around his neck, letting my hands hang loosely.
"I honestly feel like Carson's going to be crying any second." Ryan sighed, placing a soft kiss on my neck.
"He will not."
"How do you know?"
"I just know." I chuckled. "So, are you planning on making any moves soon, or what?" I smirked, nudging Ryan's thigh with my knee.
"Oh you mean something like this?" Ryan asked before crashing his lips onto mine. I sighed into his kiss and closed my eyes, playing with the ends of his hair. He pulled back and I fluttered my eyes open, smiling back at him.
"Yes." I replied, biting my bottom lip.
"I love you." Ryan smiled back at me, running his thumb over my lower lip. "You're like my personal piece of artwork."
"Stop." I demanded, turning my head away. Ryan put his hand underneath my chin and forced me to look at him.
"I'm serious and don't let anyone ever tell you different."
I smiled up at my husband and placed my hand on his cheek. "Okay." I said, just above a whisper.
Ryan pecked me on the nose and got up so we could both change into comfortable clothes to sleep in. I got up from the bed and walked down to Carson's room, just to make sure he did fall asleep and was okay.
Out like a light. I smiled, walking back into our bedroom and got underneath the covers, Ryan wrapping his arm around my waist.
"I still can't believe we're having another baby." He admitted.
"Well what do you expect when people have unprotected sex, Ryan?"
"You know what I mean. We tried for a good while there for Carson and this one seemed like a cakewalk, we must have done something right." He laughed a little.
"You're so gross."
"Anyways, I'm glad we're having another baby, another me and you to bring into the world." Ryan smiled, kissing my cheek.
"This is true." I got comfortable in the bed and closed my eyes as Ryan turned off the lights. "Another little Sitkowski." I yawned.
***************
3AM
I woke up to Ryan snoring and rolled my eyes, sitting up in the bed. My stomach didn't feel right, though it didn't help almost eating an entire Sabatini's pizza for dinner. I got out and walked into the bathroom and turned on the light and had to blink my eyes a few times to make sure I wasn't going insane.
I had blood all over the front of my thighs.
"Oh god." I whispered. "Ryan! RYAN!" I screamed, crouching down to the bathroom floor.
"What's- oh my god!"
