Nearly two years after her near-fatal overdose, Demi Lovato, 27, has announced she is making her comeback with a brand new album... and a new family. Sources say she and girlfriend Maia Leonard, 27, adopted a 15 year old girl back in August of 2019 and got engaged shortly after.
The couple have been private about the matter for months, but now feel that it's time to share the news. There was no comment about a wedding, but we're here for it.
We also don't know who their new daughter is, but Lovato and Leonard fostered her in early 2019 until making the decision to adopt after the death of the girl's biological mother who had been trying to regain custody.
Lovato has been fairly active on social media, saying her new album is as honest as honest gets, and that she was inspired by "the love of her life" to write what she's calling "possibly the greatest Demi Lovato album ever." All we can say to that is "awwww."
Well, that and we can't wait to hear it.
It is set to be released by the end of 2020, with the first single set to come out in the summer.
