Peter ;-P: U excited?

Peter ;-P: I'm excited

Peter ;-P: Really excited

Me: I can tell

Peter ;-P: Lol. U have your costume?

Me: Yep

Peter ;-P: What is it?

Me: not telling

Peter ;-P: WHAT?

Peter ;-P: No fair!

I giggle to myself at Peter's childishness.

All of us are excited to go trick or treating tonight, but Peter is over the top excited.

Peter ;-P: I'm not telling you mine then

Me: That's fine

Me: It'll be a surprise

Peter ;-P: .....fine

Me: You're a dork

Peter ;-P: So are you

Me: You're worse

Peter ;-P: Probably.

Me: What time should I head over?

Peter ;-P: Around 9 maybe?

Me: Kk

Peter ;-P: Alright I gotta go. May wants to do pumpkins now

Me: K. Tell her I say hi! See you later Peter

Peter ;-P: I will. See you later

I sink into my pillows, still in my pajamas, even though it's noon.

Halloween is tonight.

I had gotten my costume last night,  and I couldn't wait to show it off. It's been so long since I've gone trick or treating, and I can't wait. 

I get up and walk out of my room, headed towards the kitchen.

There sat Natasha, Pepper, my dad, and Steve.

"G'morning," I greet as I plop down at the table beside them.

"Morning," my dad replies.

"Shouldn't you be getting dressed?" Steve asks.

"Meh," I reply, "I'm just gonna change into my costume later anyway."

"Yeah, but--"

"Leave her be, Steve," Pepper says. "What time are you heading over to Peter's?" She asks me.

"Around 9ish," I say. "Hey Pepper, Nat, I have a question."

Natasha and Pepper look at each other, then back at me. "Okay, shoot," Nat says.

"Do you think you two could help me with my Halloween makeup?"I ask.

"Sure," Pepper grins. "Sounds like fun."

Natasha nods. "What are you being?"

I smile. "A pirate."

"A pirate?"

"Yep."

Natasha nods in thought. "I can work with that."

I smile.
