Chapter 14: Kiss

Rye's P.O.V

I wake up instantly confused. Where the hell am I? That's when I remember everything that happened yesterday...

"You up?" I hear Andy's voice from next to the bed, I turn around to see him laid in a blanket on the floor.
"I'm sorry I took up your bed," I whisper,
"It's fine," he smiles "mum rung up school saying we weren't going in today," I nod before sitting up.

"I thought you'd never miss a day of school," I smile,
"You are more important than school," he blushes, "doesn't mean we can't practice music though," he looks up at me.
"Sure," I reply he gets up and gets his guitar and a note book that holds all our lyrics so far.

"I wrote some more lyrics this morning," he announces,
"Let's hear them," I smile as he starts gently strumming his guitar.

Seven seas of distance but I would swim the blue,

Right back to the start,

I can't deny that you've got my heart on lock,

I smile as he opens his eyes, his voice is so beautiful so precious. "What do you think?" He asks shyly,
"Beautiful," I stare him in the eyes, for a second I forget everything bad that's happening, because all I can think about is him.

"You're gonna have to teach me the lyrics now," I laugh,
"Ok," he sighs sarcastically "the new bit starts, eight billion people but all I see is you," he sings softly, I nod trying to memorise the lyrics.

"Who is this about?"
"What?" Andy asks confused,
"Eight billion people but all I see is you," I repeat the lyrics "it's about someone right?"
"Maybe," Andy smiles looking down,
"Who?"
"What if I said it was you?"

I smile as he leans in towards me, I close my eyes as our lips meet for the very first time...
