GENEVIEVE'S POV
I was freaking out! But of course I didn't show it because that would be so unlike me.
I was wearing a simple blue dress with my hair in a braid. And guess what I wore for shoes? FLATS!
When I saw Ken, I was speechless.
He actually held my hand!
I freaked out!
SAM'S POV
I got into my dress (a dark blue strapless dress).
I felt really uncomfortable, I mean, seriously, why do girls have to wear dresses and then again guys in a dress would be...awkward.
Anyway! I but a bracelet on to cover my weird star birthmark on my wrist. I walked out the door to Kyoi's room, where Genevieve, Delaney, Ellie, and Kyoi all waited.
"Hey!" I greeted.
"Hey, let's get going! Don't want to miss the dance floor!" Genevieve joked.
"That was so funny I forgot to laugh," Ellie said with a roll of her eyes.
"I forgot! I don't know how to dance!" I freaked.
"You'll be fine. Let's just go," Kyoi said as we walked to the dance.
Delaney was silent.
Big surprise.
Louis, Ken, Joe, Izzy, and Koichi waited at the door.
"Hey, Sam. You look great!" Louis complimented.
"Th-thanks. So do you," I told him, blushing. We walked in and the place looked amazing.
"You want to dance?" Louis asked.
"I don't know how," I said.
"It's okay. Neither do I!" Louis responded.
We started laughing and poorly dancing.
A slow song came on. I was nervous.
I KNEW Kyoi would do something.
"Hey, Kyoi, you like the slow song? You get to dance with Joe all close and stuff!" I giggled.
She immediately went up to the DJ and 20 seconds later the song changed and her voice boomed throughout the room.
Louis went to get some punch while I saw the most rare thing.
Delaney was being.....SOCIAL!
I am glad she opened up a little more.
Louis came back over and we sat down. "So, you liking the dance?" Louis asked.
"Yeah. It's so cool!" I replied.
ELLIE'S POV
I walked to Izzy's room. I was speechless. He looked so awesome! He wore a tux and I wore a dress. I was so happy to see him! We walked to the dance together, talking about tech.
We sat up against the wall and talked more. We did this for a lot of the dance.
I liked it.
I thought the dance was going nicely.
KYOI'S POV
I cautiously walked into the dance room, stopping in the doorway.
Everyone stared at me, shocked to see me in an actual dress. My dress was the same color as my hair, stopping high in the front and going all the way down to my ankles in the back.
My muscly figure didn't go well with the dress but I wanted to look as formal as I could.
(time skip woo hoo)
Me and Joe didn't really dance, well, I guess I did a few times just for the heck of it, but mostly just talking for us.
Then a slow song came on. There were others, but this one was literally for a waltz.
Some people started dancing, like Sam and Louis, who laughed with every clumsy step they took.
Wanting to hide my obvious blush from Joe, who was thankfully a few feet away, I slapped the DJ right across the face.
Now we both had red on our faces.
"Change it. Now," I growled.
Frightened, the DJ changed the song to Everytime We Touch, probably the most upbeat song he could think of fast enough.
I politely walked back to a surprised everyone and sat down next to Joe at the punch table.
"No slow dances then?" he asked.
"Well, I'm not the best at waltzes."
DELANEY'S POV
I walked to the cafeteria, where the dance was being held. Koichi walked next to me.
We looked at each other with nervous smiles. We walked in and started by standing by the wall and talking.
This went on until the DJ-who was not a student from the school-began to speak.
"Everyone has to dance to this next song." I know just about everybody from the school.
If it WERE a student here, they NEVER would have done that.
And when the music started, Koichi and I looked at each other in horror. It was a slow song.
And we don't dance.
Woopdeedoo.
