Chapter Fourty Six: Genevieve's Trust

GENEVEIEVE'S POV

Kira and Willis came back. They both seemed happy.

I wonder what that was all about.

Kira's NEVER happy.

Whatever.

I saw someone leave the school.

Saphira.

I decided to follow her and figure out where she was going.

I stayed as quiet as I could. Iccmon came with. We watched as she talked with Kira.

"Genevieve didn't trust me, so I came to you," Saphira told her. They were in the woods.

"Well, you won't have long to wait. Diaboromon + is coming! He's strong, so you can prove yourself then." Kira sighed.

"What's up?" Saphira asked.

"I want to get the rest of our group together so I can tell them about something. It's a big secret that could kill people. Get Delaney, Ellie, and Sam. I'll get the others. Meet me in my room in ten minutes."

I gasped.

Kira had a secret?

She knows how to keep it!

SAPHIRA'S POV

Kira told us about her Datakinesis. Kyoi looked surprised.

"And I thought I was deadly!" Kyoi snorted.

"Chill it, Ky!" Genevieve told her.

"So basically, a monster is after you because you could potentially destroy both worlds?" Sam asked.

Kira nodded. "Get ready." The ground shook. "Get ready. He's here."

I went to my Digimon. They had digivolved into Bokomon and Neemon. "It's time to show Genevieve what we can do!"

KYOI'S POV

I rode on MetalSeadramon. Diaboromon + hovered nearby.

"River of Power!"

The ray of energy hit Diaboromon. It vanished.

"How is that possible?" I yelled.

"Kira said he was strong. She meant it!" MetalSeadramon replied.

I bit my lip. I knew he was powerful, but he didn't flinch to mega Digimon power.

"Ninja Knife Throwing!"

"Black Beam!"

Two Digimon-Ninjamon and Dobermon-appeared. Saphira was with them.

Those were her Digimon!

SAPHIRA'S POV

I felt my tag and crest on my chest.

Genevieve ran over. Darkininmon was attacking overhead.

"Listen, Saphira. I don't want you doing anything stupid to impress me. And you trying to help us...well I guess that means this isn't deception. I guess I trust you."

GENEVIEVE'S POV

I remember pondering long and hard about to trust Saphira.

Eventually I came to the conclusion that she seemed sincere, and that I should give her a chance.

So I did.

SAPHIRA'S POV

"I guess that now that you trust me, I'm not just a weak kid in the way. I'm equal to all of you. I just wanted to prove myself that I could fight too. But now that I have by understanding that I'm not the only one with problems and dealing with it, I'm finally equal to you," I told Genevieve.

Warmth.

That's all I felt.

I began to glow a soft violet.

"NINJAMON, DIGIVOLVE TO PIXIMON!"

"DOBERMON, DIGIVOLVE TO CERBERUSMON!"

A small warrior and a large dog stood before me.

"I really am part of the team now."
