The girls all stood outside the school. The trolley car waited for them. They all boarded. on one side of the car was Sam, Delaney, Kyoi, and Genevieve. One the other side was Ellie, Saphira, Kira, and Zephyr.

"Old and the new," Genevieve commented. She held out her Digivice.

"The strong and the silent," Saphira said, doing the same.

"The fighters and the strategic," Kira smirked. She too held out her hand.

"The positive and the negative," Sam smiled.

"The light and the dark," Delaney grinned. She and Sam out their arms out.

"The fire and the ice," Ellie giggled.

"I have no idea what we're doing," Kyoi said, rolling her eyes. Genevieve grabbed her hand and put it in the center.

"No matter how we are, we're a team. And teams don't forget each other," Zephyr sighed.

"One, two, three! FOREVER DIGIDESTINED!" they all exclaimed.

SAM'S POV

I was in my room. I ate pizza as I watched the announcement that called us all to the Digital World.

"Scarlett Marilyn." The girl that ate pizza as she smiled at the distant memory.

"Delaney Colina." The silent kid that kept the silences...well...silent.

"Katie Grace Pinkloff." Geez. I better not say a thing about fierce Kyoi's real name.

"Genevieve Gennai." The mature girl that kept us all in line.

"Charlie Sino." The computer geek with those bright blue eyes.

"Sapphire Alini." The talkative who isn't at all too bad.

"Akira Brandon." The mysterious girl with a secret.

"Thaddea Trilshi." The wild sided goggle head.

Friends.

My friends.

DELANEY'S POV

I was at the Frozen Yogurt place. Kira was on the other side of the store with Willis.

I was with Koichi. We had started dating. This was date one, and date two was going to happen later in the summer.

We were going to watch fireworks on the Fourth of July.

I smiled.

That was easily the best year of my life.

KYOI'S POV

My heart raced. My father read the newspaper.

"Hey dad. At school we learned about monsters that could easily take over the world."

"Okay."

"I have one of those monsters. Can we keep him?"

Even if he said no, I'd keep Betamon anyway.

"Cool."

"Dad, I have a boyfriend."

"WHAT?!?"

I pushed Joe in the room. My dad dropped the newspaper and walked to Joe.

He gripped his shoulders and ducked his head on either side of him, over each shoulder, and then he looked into his eyes.

"We can keep him."

YUS!

GENEVIEVE'S POV

I walked into my house. Dad sat on the couch.

I sat down next to him. "Dad, I just want to say thanks."

"For what?"

"Getting me into the DigiDestined business. It was amazing. Mom may disagree, but I don't. Thank you for everything."

My dad looked at me, tan hair swaying. "You're welcome."

I hugged him as tight as I could without killing him.

ELLIE'S POV

I was on my laptop. I but my lip as the circle of dots spun.

Soon, the spinning stopped and Izzy's face appeared on the screen.

"Hey Iz! How's your summer?" I asked. We were video chatting, one of many times.

"Awesome. My dad's computer broke, so we'll have to put it back together sometime!"

I sighed inside. I was relieved.

I guess I got all worked up about talking him since school ended for nothing.

This was working out amazingly.

SAPHIRA'S POV

I smiled. I was alone in my room.

My mom's spaghetti was smelling really good. Dad was working right now. He was due to be done here any minute now.

My red hair was fanned out on my bed. I smiled as I held my red bandanna. I toyed around with it.

"Saphira! Dinner's ready!" my mom called as my dad walked in the doors.

"Coming!" I exclaimed, tying the bandanna around my neck.

I finished knotting it as I walked into the dining room.

"What is with you and that bandanna?" my dad asked.

I smiled. "Oh, just a memory of a dear friend."

KIRA'S POV

I spent a lot of my summer at Willis' place. He told his mom that my parents were taking a summer trip.

It was a cover up for the fact that my parents abandoned me.

Long story.

Maybe I'll tell it one day.

I sat on the extra mattress that was set up next to his bed.

It was connected to his the bottom of his bed, so it at the same elevation.

The bunnies were all playing around.

"You know, I imagined summer outside," I joked.

"Instead we're bunny babysitters," Willis grinned.

I smiled back and laughed.

He wasn't too bad.

ZEPHYR'S POV

I wore my goggles. I was in the lake near my house.

My small dog, Belle, ran around. Usually the dog got on my nerves, but I was happy today.

It was August 1st. The day that everything began.

The TV station.

Floramon.

Everything.

Floramon was in an inner tube, taking a cat nap.

You know, if she can get any z's.

I smiled. Diving underwater, I began swimming around.

In my head, my green one-piece was the same color as the bubbles that formed behind me.

They spelled out something wonderful:

This isn't the end of our adventures.....
