Chapter Fifty: Farewells

KYOI'S POV

I sat with Botamon in my room. Kari was next to me.

We began singing. "Bow bow bow, bow bow bow, bow bow bow bow, ribbon!" I sang in my deep voice.

Botamon was covered in bows and ribbons.

This is revenge from my date night.

His eyes were visible and he blew bubbles angrily.

I laughed. Kari did too.

I walked over to my suitcase and placed a final thing inside: a family picture from when I was six.

Mom.

Dad.

Twin.

Twin.

Sister.

My black hair that was straight and shoulder length with my bright eyes shining.

I smiled sincerely.

Not a smirk.

I sighed.

I wished that I could feel that love again.....

SAM'S POV

I ate some pizza with Mokumon.

It was cold pizza, so he heated it up for us. I laughed as a piece was slightly burnt. Mokumon blushed and smiled with me.

I grabbed my suitcase. I looked around. Tai, Sora, and Matt all had their stuff collected too.

The school year was over, and we were all packing up for summer vacation.

The beds and dressers was it as far as furniture was concerned.

I picked up Mokumon.

Time for final farewells.

ZEPHYR'S POV

I looked at my bag. It was packed already. Yuramon was in the pencil pouch looking at me.

"Yuwa," she said.

"Your little voice is cute, but you're not getting out of there until we get home," I laughed.

Yuramon shook her head.

Well, she can't really shake if she IS a head.

Whatever.

"Come on. I'm going to meet Davis for soccer."

KIRA'S POV

"Kind of ironic that we brought ten rabbits back here for one week." I smiled. I was trying to lighten the mood.

Diaboromon was defeated six days ago. The last day of school was today.

"Yeah. And...um, Kira?" Willis began.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I like you. You understand me. I just wanted to know if you want to go for ice cream once we're on Earth?"

"Nah. Fro yo is better!" I exclaimed.

Willis smiled. "Sweet!"

"Nice pun, Menkeze," I joked. I pulled on my messenger bag. "Let's go."

ELLIE'S POV

I looked at Punimon. He looked at me with innocent eyes.

"Puni!"

"Pony!" I teased.

Punimon narrowed his eyes.

Izzy and I looked at each other. I smiled. I walked over to my dream duffel. I grabbed the handle.

"You know, we should grab a smoothie sometime and do tech stuff, like toying around on our laptops!" I smiled.

Izzy nodded. "Agreed."

DELANEY'S POV

I looked at my empty room. Tears were in my eyes.

I had my backpack on. Fiimon was in my arms.

I walked I to the woods.

Bush.

The one I hid behind with TK and Kari at he beginning of the year.

The indentation of a small aqua symbol.

Where my crest glowed.

I smiled. Tears went down my face.

They landed on the symbol of my crest.

GENEVIEVE'S POV

I wrapped my arms around Ken.

He blushed. I blushed.

"You're coming back, right?" I asked, releasing the hugs to gently grip his wrists.

He nodded, still blushing.

"Good."

I kissed him on the cheek. His face became a cherry.

"And also, not a word about me kissing you," I smirked.

He giggled and looked at the ground.

I giggled as well.

SAPHIRA'S POV

I saw Koji in the hallway. We met eyes.

"Hey, Koji. Thanks again for the advice about Genevieve. I really appreciate it," I smiled.

He looked at me with a satisfied grin. He held a bright red piece of fabric.

Koji handed it to me. "Just a little memento."

I smiled as I put around my neck.

"I won't forget you. The summer is long, but not long enough to erode memories. Just gives you chances to make new ones."
