Chapter Fourty Four: Memories Strike Back

KIRA'S POV

"It's a hologram. He's not really here but he will be."

WILLIS' POV

"Kira, I want you to tell me what happened to make you hate me so much."

KIRA'S POV

I nodded. "Alright. Keeping it in for four years makes it want to come out."

I sighed. "Okay. When you wanted a new Digimon, the virus you made infected a Digi-Egg. It was mine, and a rookie Digimon named Karumimon hatched out of it."

I pulled down my black wristlet. "This is what he looked like."

Willis nodded.

I continued. "He became Diaboromon. The DigiDestined defeated him, but his data came back and he reformed. I watched as he became a monster. He eventually left me alone. When I met all you DD four years ago, I found him among millions of Diaboromon. He was "tamed," I guess you could say. We defeated Orobaidmon, a beyond mega Digimon. We broke away from the others. We travelled in the other world for four years. I came back to Earth and got my tattoo and hair streak. That's when Orobaidmon returned and I met you guys again."

Willis nodded. "Your 'Datakinesis?'"

"Oh yeah. When the ten crests formed the barrier between the worlds it hit some glass. The reflection hit me on Earth. After that, I gained the ability to alter any data. If I lost control, I could've destroyed the Digital World. That's why I didn't come back. Delaney's crest turned Kuramon into a new Digimon, the one you see now. The fresh and in-training forms became rookies. Explanation enough?"

WILLIS' POV

I finally understood.

I was put through so much pain and heartache, and Kira understood that.

She was put through the same thing.

"In fact Willis," Kira began. "Letting my problems out to someone who would listen makes me realize that I wasn't alone on the pain and heartache."

She read my mind.

"I forgive you." Her crest began to glow, and so did the one she made me all those years ago.

Three small spheres descended from the sky. I took two and rubbed them.

One of them hatched into a bunny Digimon that looked like Terriermon, but with four horns. It was gray instead of white with aqua instead of green. Illimomon.

The other one was a five-horned Lopmon, with beige instead of brown and purple instead of pink. Dirilismon.

KIRA'S POV

I felt tears form. The egg hatched into a small, black, two-horned bunny with blue instead of the various colors. "KARUMIMON!"
