Chapter Seventeen: Dragons and Discoveries

KYOI'S POV

We were cleaning up the school for the rest of the day. Tai took charge because the principal was Devimon, so Tai decided to take the lead.

I yawned and walked off to my room to take a nap. I laid down and went to sleep.

Later, I opened my eyes to see Mimi wrapped in a towel.

"Um, Kyoi, I was trying to take a shower and now I need your help," Mimi told me.

"How can I help?" I asked. I put emphasis on 'I' so she could see I was irritated.

"Just come see!"

I followed Mimi to see Seadramon in the bathtub. His eyes poked over the top of the tub. I looked at him in irritation.

"I hate being Betamon," he said.

"Do I need to make you de-digivolve?" I asked.

"Do I need to crest digivolve?" he questioned.

"You don't even have one!"

"Then you don't either."

"GET OUT!" I yelled, pointing to the other room.

Seadramon slithered along the ground and made himself a heap on my bed.

"Great. So much for my nap," I said sarcastically.

Seadramon closed his eyes. I sat down on him.

"Wow. This is actually pretty comfy!" I realized. I closed my eyes.

"Good night, nit wit," I told him.

"Good night, moron," Seadramon said.

DELANEY'S POV

I slid across the wall opposite Kyoi and Seadramon.

That was slightly terrifying.

I sat down on Izzy's bed next to Sora and Izzy. Tai, Mimi, and Matt all sat across from me. I watched as TK, Kari, and Joe took their spots.

"So, what exactly happened earlier?" Izzy asked.

I looked at the window. "Well, Devimon attacked TK, Kari, and I. Wizardmon got hit by an attack and then something started glowing aqua and he digivolved," I explained.

I 'accidentally' left out my crying.

Didn't want anyone to know.

"What glowed exactly?" Sora asked.

I held up my tag and crest, removing it from my neck. I handed it to her, the string hanging down.

"Sounds like he digivolved with the crest," Tai pointed out.

"What does your crest mean?" Matt asked.

Wow.

I could get used to people talking to me.

"I'm not sure. For some reason I think heart," I responded.

"I don't know what anyone else thought, but Devimon seemed to be more powerful," TK said.

"I looked him up on my Digivice. It said Devimon +, twice as powerful. He looked the same as Devimon. TK told me what he looked like," I explained.

"Well, Devimon was our first villain. What if they are + versions of all our other enemies? Etemon would be next," Joe wondered.

"If that's true, thinks about the Dark Masters! They're fuzzy puppies compared to now!" Kari exclaimed.

"Well, it's time we kept cleaning up. Thanks for the info, Delaney," Mimi told me.

I nodded.

I had heard about the other villains they had faced.

Twice as powerful?

This wouldn't be good.
