Chapter 19: Kyoi's Bad Day

KYOI'S POV

My day is stinking.

I just want to punch something.

And knowing myself, I will punch something, namely Seadramon.

That guy knows how to push my buttons.

Especially when he steals a beanie from my closet. He was wearing it on his metal head.

"Take it off," I told him.

"No." He was using his innocent voice, which he used when begging to stay a Seadramon.

"Take it off!" I said again, voice rising-like my anger.

"No!"

"TAKE IT OFF!"

"You wanna to?"

"YES!" I hissed.

We began fighting, and he's lucky I can't bring myself to kill him like I desire so often.

Eventually, I felt beyond irritated and I sat on my bed.

Seadramon and I both were bruised from where our angry jabs had struck.

"I GIVE UP!" I screamed. Angrily walking out the door, I went to the cafeteria.

The school was returning to normal. I was still getting used to seeing a tag and crest around Delaney's neck.

Lucky duck.

Her crest had glowed. I wondered when I would get mine. I walked around piles or rubble on my way to the cafeteria.

The ceiling was gone in many places. I didn't understand any of this. Delaney seemed so quiet, weak and sensitive.

She never fought and she beat the attacker. I kicked a small stone.

I forced my eyes closed.

Couldn't anything make sense?!?

I entered the cafeteria.

I saw a weird Digimon. Pulling out my Digivice, I looked him up. Etemon +, mega level. He shared the same appearance as Etemon, but had twice as much power.

Etemon threw a sphere that hit the ceiling above where three students were sitting.

A majority of the students had fled, still recovering from the fight with Devimon +.

I saw who the three kids were.

Joe, Mimi, and Izzy!

As the rubble fell on the trio, I knew I was done. "THAT IS IT!" I screamed.

I punched Etemon, who fell backwards, denting the floor.

I frowned.

Punching Etemon wildly, he blocked many attacks.

I felt pain rush to my stomach. He had caught me off guard.

I hit the ceiling in a soft place, making much of it fall on me. Etemon + teleported away.

I broke out of the pile of stones and threw rocks in all directions. I found Mimi, Joe, and Izzy.

I grabbed their hands and pulled them to our room.

Pushing them inside, I locked the door.

I sat like a frog outside the door, growling at anyone who passed by.

Etemon had nearly killed them.

I would be ready next time.

SAM'S POV

If what happened in the cafeteria was halfway through Kyoi's bad day, what was the end like?

I didn't want to know.
