Alright, one thing. I changed the request a bit if you don't mind. I hope you don't. I was writing and then I forgot to look back at the request and I realized I missed some angst you wanted in there. But there's a fluff so like, I rlly hope you don't mind. Like, I realized it after I finished the oneshot. Idk, ur gorl just didn't feel like writing angst and then I accidentally missed a part you wanted. Forgive meeeee, Bean!

Title: A Bear's Beanie

Ship: Woochan

"Haha! Look at his ears!"

"They're so scrawny!"

"Look he's crying!"

Woojin tried to get the other small kids off of him, but they just did not budge. It was his first day of kindergarten and this was how it was going.

The children were mean. The humans did not spare him a look. The other hybrids made fun of his small features. He was only a bear cub. Of course his features were small. But they would not get much bigger.

Ever since that day, Woojin never wore the pants that were meant for his tail stub and always wore a beanie. It was one that hung off his head a little, so there was no bump.

It was his third year of high school when he ran into a human. Woojin knew this human was apart of the small rap group that was becoming quite famous on YouTube. Woojin enjoyed listening to them himself.

"Oh, jeez. Are you okay?" The boy asked, putting out a hand to help Woojin stand.

Woojin took the hand and helped himself stand.

"I'm Chan. It's nice to meet you." Chan bowed.

"I'm Woojin." Woojin greeted back.

Chan smiled. "Well, I really gotta get going, I'll see you around Woojin!" Chan took off in a jog, Woojin watching from his spot.

That boy was very nice. Woojin really did hope he got to cross paths with him a little more.

It was another day of Woojin sitting alone at lunch, trying to solve a Rubik's cube. But he had done it so many times that he was already looking at a completed cube.

Woojin sighed, placing the cube the table as someone sat across from him. Woojin looked up at the person and was surprised himself when he saw the boy from yesterday, Chan.

"Hey, saw you sitting alone. Mind if I sit here?"

"Uh, no. Of course not." Woojin smiled. "You can sit here whenever you'd like."

"Great." Chan chuckled. "Woah, did you solve that just now?" Chan asked, pointing at the cube on the table.

"Yeah. I've done it too many times." Woojin shrugged.

"You should teach me." Chan suggested. "I mean, I never have time to do stuff like that."

Woojin smiled brightly at this. "It's actually not that hard so I could teach you if you really wanted me to."

Chan pulled out his phone, tapping a few buttons before pushing it towards Woojin. "Your number, Sir?"

"Of course."

Woojin did not think he would get so attached so quickly. He became friends with the rest of the rap group and he was very impressed by them. He was always invited to hang out with them and he could not be any happier.

At the moment, Woojin watched as the three wrote songs. Sharing lyric and beat ideas. Woojin admired their song creating skills.

"How about something with hoodies? Since it's cold." Changbin suggested.

"Hoodie Season?" Jisung suggested.

"I like that." Chan nodded.

"It reminds me of Woojin's beanie he always wears." Changbin pointed out, causing them all to look over at Woojin.

"Why do you wear that beanie so much?" Jisung asked.

"I, um, well. It's kind of a long story." Woojin pouted, pulling the beanie down a bit, just above his ears.

"You can tell me later. We need to finish off this song."

When Jisung and Changbin left, Woojin was nearly fast asleep. But Chan still had that question.

"So, why do you wear that beanie?" Chan asked.

Woojin yawned. He was half asleep and was most likely going to say some things he might regret.

"To hide my ears."

Chan raises an eyebrow. "Ears? You're a hybrid?"

"Mhm." Woojin hummed as he nodded. He reached up and grabbed the beanie, slipping it off so his small bear ears were visible.

Chan's eyes widened at the sight. He had no clue Woojin was a different species than him.

"What kind of hybrid are you?"

"Bear." Woojin snuggled farther into the couch, exhausted from watching Chan do all that work.

Chan noticed how tired Woojin looked. He smiled fondly at him, patting his head.

"Goodnight, my little bear cub."

Woojin awoke in Chan's arms. He was lying on top of him, Chan's arms wrapped securely around Woojin's torso as Woojin's small hands rested under Chan's shoulder blades, that were up from his arms being wrapped around Woojin. He was comfy and felt warm. But when he realized his beanie was gone, memories of last night came flooding in.

"Goodnight, my little bear cub."

Woojin blushed at the thought. Chan accepted him without second thought.

Woojin closed his eyes again, attempting to snuggle closer to Chan. He was already snuggled close to Chan was there was really no need to. This only woke Chan up.

Chan suppressed a chuckle at how cute this was to him. Lifting an arm, he stroked one of Woojin's ears.

Woojin shivered. "Stop." He croaked out, tiredly.

"Okay, okay." Chan smiled.

"Thank you."

"What? Why?"

"For accepting me."

Chan smiled warmly at this. How could he not accept such an adorable creature?

Woojin was just a big snuggle bear.
