Chapter Thirty-Four || Chi Town Surprise

Date: August 2nd

Location: Park West - Chicago, Illinois

"I can't believe nobody was at the airport to pick us up" Terrance said as we rode in the cab.

I chuckled. "What do you expect they are busy people"

"True" he shrugged. "Chicago is so nice"

"Yeah, I'm obsessed" I gushed.

We landed in Chicago approximately thirty minutes ago. After one of the shortest flight I've had in the longest time we were finally here and it sure as hell was a gorgeous city! I expected to be greeted by the guys or Jamie when Terrance and I landed but Jamie texted me saying they couldn't make it which I was fine with.

Isis couldn't fly down today because she had things to do but she's defiantly flying down tomorrow for lollapalooza and Oliver was also flying down tomorrow since there was another festival in another country he was attending today. Since the guys had a show tonight we were probably gonna go see some acts perform at Lolla today so we can kill time before the show tonight in park west.

When we got to the hotel Terrance and I went straight to my room to settle in, once we were settled Terrance headed for Adams room and I went for Matty's. I hadn't spoken to him in like a day but last time we talked he said his brother Louis was flying down so I was excited to meet him.

"Matty" I called as I knocked on the door.

"Hello" Gemma said as she opened it.

It was like getting punched in the face by Beyoncé. Not that Gemma is Beyonce. "Um hi"

"Matty's in the shower but do you need something?" she asked.

"Uh no" I said.

She nodded. "Okay well it was nice seeing you again"

I forced a smile. "Likewise"

When I got back in the room George was sitting on the bed with James. "She flew in this morning" James said.

I nodded. "Figured, how was your flight?"

"Long, and yours?" James asked.

"Short" I chuckled. "My mom sent cookies"

"She's the best" George said.

I laughed then unzipped my bag and pulled out individually wrapped cookies in a plastic bag. Thankfully security didn't give me a hard time bringing them on the plane but it did cost me one cookie to stop Terrance from eating them.

"They're amazing" George gushed as he ate one. "Where's Isis?"

"Still in New York, she'll be here tomorrow" I said as I started to pull out clothes to change into.

"If you want to talk were here" James said.

I laughed. "No offense but you're his best friend and Im sure what I say to you will somehow find it's way back to him"

He chuckled. "True but I'm a great listener"

I was about to speak when somebody knocked on my door. I was sitting on the floor so I looked to George to answer it. When he did I was not surprised to see Matty standing there, when he saw me his facial expression didn't change.

"Can you give us a minute?" Matty asked George and James.

"Uh no it's fine stay" I said to them then looked at Matty.

"But we need to talk" He sighed.

I chuckled. "No I need to shower, just go back to Gemma it's fine, were fine"
