Chapter Forty || Cherry Blossoms

Date: August 17th

Location: Summersonic - Osaka, Japan

"Are you meeting up with Alex today?" Matty asked as I curled my hair.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Just wondering, listen I need a favor"

"No" I said then turned around and faced him.

He chuckled. "You don't even know what I was gonna ask"

"So ask but I'm sure my answer will be no" I giggled.

He smirked. "I need you to stop fucking kicking me in your sleep!"

I laughed. "You're such a big baby"

"Love I have a bruise the size of my willy on my leg!" He shouted.

I laughed. "Such a bitch wow"

"If I kick you tonight please know it was an accident" he said then tied his hair into a man bun.

"Your hair is starting to look like a mop" I giggled.

"Is that bad?" he frowned.

"No you're perfect" I said then cupped his face.

"Always can count on you to motive me for the day" he chuckled then kissed me.

"You guys make me feel gross" Isis groaned as she walked in the bathroom.

"Single sucks doesn't it?" I asked her.

"Fuck off, get out" she said then shoved us out the bathroom.

"I gotta go get something from Adam but I'll see you downstairs" Matty said then walked out the room.

"He forgot his phone and it's ringing" Kendal yawned then tossed me Matty's phone.

"Gemma" I sighed then picked up. "Hey Gemma"

"Hello, is Matty there?" she asked.

"He just walked out the room"

"Right well tell him to call me, his mum wants to know what she should make for dinner when she cooks for us"

"Kay" I sighed then hung up.

"You look mad" Kendal frowned.

"When am I not mad?" I asked then walked out the room with Matty's phone.

After searching I found Matty in George's room with all the guys. "Hey little one" G said when I walked in.

"Gemma called" I said to Matty then tossed him his phone.

"Well what did she want?" he asked.

"Your mom wants to know what to make when Gemma and I come over for dinner" I said.

He sighed. "I was going to tell you she was coming"

"But you didn't" I nodded then walked out.

It's not enough I have to meet Matty's mom but now when I do meet her Matty's perfect ex-girlfriend will be there. It was literally like a slap in the face having her there because like we all know Gemma has been there since the beginning and now I was stepping in and I'm practically shit compared to the great Gemma Janes who has stuck by this guy through it all.

Anyways when we left for the festival we all looked so tired. This morning we had to catch an early flight from Tokyo to Osaka which I guess isn't far but like I said it was an early flight so we are all still a bit tired. Since it was still the same festival just a different city the line up is still the same and so is everything else. Like times and stages and all that jazz.
