Chapter Fifty-One || Hiding in plain sight

Date: September 27th

Location: O2 Apollo - Manchester, UK

"Are they still sleeping?" Isis whispered.

"Yeah" I nodded as I closed the door behind me.

"Grab your bag I'll meet you downstairs" she said then rushed out the room.

Last night George and Matty came home so wasted I didn't even wanna be around either of them this morning. I was annoyed that they just came home and made so much noise and acted like such children. It just bothers me because I'm not used to it yet but I'll probably have to get used to it seeing as how they are always drinking. Even at their shows.

"Are you off?" G asked as I stepped out the room.

"Yeah Isis and I are gonna go grab some food" I shrugged.

"Oh" he nodded. "See you later then"

"Kay" I sang then rushed off.

We found a new cafe to have breakfast at. It was around the corner from Denise's house so I would probably stop by after we ate to see how she was. We sat outside since it wasn't too cold outside but it also wasn't too hot. We both ordered the same thing, eggs and hash brown with some sausage and orange juice.

"I'm so obsessed with you" I groaned after our waiter walked off.

Isis laughed. "Creep, I'm so sad to be leaving"

"Don't talk about it" I frowned. "We still have a few good days left"

"Have you told Matty you're going to PA in a week?" she asked.

"No" I huffed. "I mean it's only for a few days I'm sure he won't mind"

She nodded. "Are we going to talk about what I said the other night?"

"Yeah" I nodded. "What's the problem?"

She sighed. "I just feel like when you're with Matty you're with him all the way and I get that because you're in love and I'm so happy for you but don't invite me down here only to come second to your boyfriend. That's exactly why T canceled his flight because he doesn't want to be down here and be a third wheel"

I nodded. "I'm so sorry you feel like that but I've never thought I was doing that. I always try to make you feel at home and include you in everything"

"And you do" she nodded. "I feel so comfortable in your home but at the same time while your upstairs with Matty I'm bored out of my mind in the living room and I just can't leave because I don't know my way around this town"

"Well I'm sorry and I'll try to figure this out" I said.

"There's no need I'm leaving tonight" she said and my heart dropped.

"Why?" I asked.

"I got called back into work" she said. "After the show I have a flight to catch"

"Thanks for telling me now Isis"

She scoffed. "I just found out myself don't get mad at me"

"Wow you just ruined my day"

She chuckled. "You're such a baby"

"Shut up" I frowned.

"I'll try and come back soon but you know I can't"

I nodded. "I know, it's fine I'll see you in PA soon"

She smiled. "That's the right attitude now let's eat"

After we finished eating we didn't wanna go back home so we headed over to Denise's house. Louis let us in and oh god it smelled so good when we walked inside my heart melted. It just smelled like cupcakes.
