Island Of Isolation:
To find comfort in your own loneliness
Is a skill many can't grasp
But to feel loneliness in a crowd
Where you used to belong
Is a heavy burden at task
To feel ignored
In the room of people you wanted most
Questioning flaws,
Temper rising,
Minds conniving
You only care when you think I'm leaving,
Just out of reach.
Will it matter?
Because this is something you'll never be reading
And stability is the thing I'm needing.
An island of isolation,
Drifting into a sea with no floatation
Watch me drown
From the shore.

Efforts Unwanted:
I tire of trying
Where my efforts are unseen
Trying to feel for people
When you cried the moment I tried to leave.
How many times
Do I have to do the same song and dance
Like a fucking monkey on command
Slap a smile on your dile
Because your goddamn suicidal
Tendencies are regarded as too much,
Seek help because we don't care enough
To bother spending time
Trying to listen to your state of mind.
The need for space sets in,
Like an ocean of detachment in-between
And I'm finding that
Each time I leave
It's harder to come back.
