🏃♂️Clark's POV🏃♂️
I'll be at your place at 9
Wait up for me
After reading it, I decided to give myself a few seconds to stare at the text. It was forward, true. It was unexpected, also true. This was going to happen whether I wanted it to or not.
Well Fuck
I let out a loud huff and stuffed my phone into my pocket, after putting it on vibrate. I wasn't sure if Santiago was going to text me, but if he was, I would like to know that he decided to turn 9 o'clock to 6 before I walked around in my underwear when he rang the doorbell. I did not need embarrassment added on to our mess.

Several hours later, when I was, in fact, wearing my underwear around the condo, Ethan called me for dinner.I looked down at my bare chest and legs. I had two options for clothes. I could 1: put on pants and a shirt, or 2: just throw on a pair of pants. The second option seemed much easier, and Ethan and I were so used to seeing each other shirtless that it would be fine.
Wanting to be the most comfortable, I slipped into a pair of comfortable gray sweatpants and left the room to have dinner.
I was a bit shaky and nervous when I entered the dining room, and Ethan immediately noticed.
"Hey, what's wrong, Clark?" He asked with clear concern, pulling out a dining chair for me to slip into.
I smiled tightly up at him and adjusted myself in my seat. Ethan went back to his seat and eagerly stared back at me. It made me feel cared for whenever I had to talk to Ethan, he always paid attention and I felt important when he gave me his undecided focus. That was one thing that I loved about living with him.
"I, uh, it's about Santiago." I told him, sighing and sagging into my chair. "Things got a bit weird after last night and he is going to come over in a bit, probably to talk about it."
Ethan's eyes widened and a slow evil grin fell upon his face.
"Oh, I heard that a lot happened last night at that party." Ethan smirked teasingly, standing up as he started to serve out the food. "Why don't you tell me all about it over some Fish and Chips?"
I hesitantly started down at the crispy fried fish and equally as crisp and golden brown fries. Fish and Chips was a dish that I only ate once moving in with Ethan, but it was extremely delicious. I knew I would give in once I thought of the soft fish filet coated in a crispy layer of panko entering my mouth.
"Fine." I sighed quietly, smiling lightly when I saw him give me the largest piece of fish that he made.
I started to cut into the fish, biting my lip when I heard the crunch of the breading and started to bring the forkful up to my mouth.
"So, first off, how is your boyfriend?" Ethan's sudden questioned startled me into bumping the fork against my tooth. "Are you and Liam doing alright?" Ethan was completely oblivious to my pain and continued to eat his food.
I sighed, rubbing my tooth from over my lip. Ethan looked up at me questioningly when he saw me frowning down at the table. I was still in pain from bumping my tooth but Ethan still didn't know that.
"He and I are doing alright." I told him, carefully bring another forkful of fish into my mouth. And this time, without any incident.
I paused as I thought over my relationship with Liam. He and I were doing fine. Completely and utterly fine.
