You were laying on the couch watching the television in the lounge. Bendy was asleep in one of the rooms, which you found a little odd since Sammy had once told you that the ink creatures living in the studio didn't need rest. Nevertheless, you ignored it and let Bendy be. Who were you to know any better?

There wasn't really anything good on the television. You flicked through all of the black and white channels, trying to find something good to watch. Each time you stopped on a station, however, you would start surfing through the channels again only fifteen minutes later.

After watching television for an hour or so, you noticed the signal starting to cut out. The sound started glitching and the images would blur. Sometimes the screen would go completely blank for a second before cutting back in. This was strange behavior.

Yes, the television was old and hadn't really been used for an entire thirty years, but still. You and Bendy had watched it countless times since you arrived, and nothing like this had ever happened. Not once.

As you observed the struggling television, you began to hear a very faint thumping noise. It sounded like a heartbeat, but it wasn't yours. Ba-bump. Ba-bump. It sounded like the heartbeat was on a continuous loop, sounding the exact same each time. The speed never increased.

It started to get louder as time ticked away, but only very slowly did it increase so. And, the louder it got, the more you began to hear other noises that were mixed in. You started to hear a strange, droning tone and heard a quiet noise that resembled an ink flow. It was starting to creep you out.

Eventually, the television began to get even worse. The sound rarely played, and when it did, it was greatly distorted. The pictures became too fuzzy and blurry that it came to the point that you couldn't make anything out anymore. Not only that, but the television screen became blank more often, only showing a bright white screen.

The heartbeats got louder and the droning began to tear at your eardrums. The noise of swirling ink grew louder as well, but now you could make out the bubbling of ink. You also began to hear strange, raspy hisses that shook your very core.

Upon hearing the strange hisses and breaths, you immediately turned to the door of the room in which Bendy was sleeping. You stared in fear at the faint ink masses that began to reach across the room. Stemming from the door, they reached out across the ceiling and floor, and crept along the walls.

"Oh no!" You whispered in alarm. "Bendy!" You shot up from the couch as the television screen went blank, a loud static accompanying the flickering white screen. You approached the door and opened it.

As soon as you did so, the sounds multiplied. You had to cover your ears from how loud everything was. The heartbeats shook your entire body as they reverberated throughout your body, and the low drone nearly ripped your eardrums. The ragged hissing of Bendy's breaths set you on edge, and you could've swore you could make out two names as he breathed. One was yours, the other sounded like the name of one of your former co-workers....

You looked at Bendy, who was laying flat on his back. Darkness and thick ink surrounded his relaxed body, and ink flowed furiously down his form. It seemed like he had an endless flow of ink that just leaked down his face, hands, and body. His eternal smile vigorously jittered and shook.

You ran over to him and uncovered your ears, letting the loud noises start to send you into hysteria. "Bendy!" You let loose a shrill scream as you gripped his arm, trying to shake the demon awake. "Bendy, please wake up! Stop it!"

You screams fell on deaf, sleeping ears as everything continued to get even louder. Your body began to literally rattle from the intensity of the jumbled noises, and your own screams began to be drowned out. "Bendy!" You screamed as loud as you possible could.

And just like that, everything went silent. Bendy bolted upright in the bed as the ink masses instantly disappeared. The furious flow of ink that covered him immediately ceased, and all of the sounds were simply gone. No more drone, no more hisses, no more heartbeat. Nothing.

You saw Bendy's chest rapidly rising and falling. As he hyperventilated, you found yourself trying to calm yourself too. An unbearable ringing screeched in your ears and your heartbeat was slowly going back to normal.

Bendy turned his head to look at you, doing so at such an intense speed he could've snapped his neck. He was still breathing heavily and was slightly shaking, but he quickly pulled you into a super tight hug nonetheless.

You, still in a state of shock and fear, stood there rigidly as he hugged you. Barely able to register anything yet, you only really noticed his shakes and trembles. After a moment, you watched him pull away and he lightly grabbed your face. He moved it around, inspecting it desperately. He also grabbed your arms and raised them, looking at those too. Lastly, he grabbed your face once more and placed a frantic ink heart kiss to your forehead before pulling you back into a tight hug.

Now calm, you registered the hug and wrapped your arms around him. You stroked his back and whispered to him soothingly. "Hey, it's alright." You smiled softly as the poor demon continued to shake. "It's alright, I'm here. I'm here."

You waited patiently for Bendy to calm down enough to be able to talk to. When he felt comfortable, he pulled away. He grabbed his sketchbook and hastily wrote, 'Is it really you?'

"Yes?" You said, although it might've sounded like more of a question.

'Are you hurt?'

"Bendy, I'm fine. I promise." You answered hesitantly. "Bendy, are you okay?" He looked at you, not writing anything. "I don't know why I asked that. It's obvious that you are not okay...." You sighed.

He wrote down on a new piece of paper, 'I had a nightmare. You were gone.'

"Bendy, I already said I'm not going anywhere!" You smiled at him.

'No, you were gone. Taken from me! It was almost like you disappeared. I couldn't find you! You were missing!'

You lightly grabbed Bendy's horns and pulled his head close to you. You placed a small, sweet kiss to his cheek. "Bendy, it was a nightmare. I'm here, I'm fine, and I'm never going anywhere."

Bendy couldn't help himself as he quickly cupped your cheek and placed an ink heart kiss right on your lips. He let it linger before pulling away. He wrote, 'I'm sorry. I know you don't like ink on your mouth.'

You quietly laughed. "It's alright, Bendy. It was nice~"

You saw Bendy's shoulders slightly relax and he put the sketchbook back down. He lay himself down, resting on his side as he patted the bed. You smiled at him as you crawled onto the mattress. You lay on your side, facing Bendy.

He wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you close to him, pulling up the covers. He gently stroked your head with his free hand as he lowered his head to place a kiss to the shell of your ear. You giggled at his touch and snuggled into him further.

You looked up at Bendy and raised a hand, gently placing it on the side of his face. You stroked his face with your thumb as you smiled lovingly at him. "I love you Bendy."

He wrote on your arm, 'I know.' A small pause rested between you two before he wrote something more on your skin. 'Can I ask you something, (Y/N)?'

"Of course. What is it?" You said. He placed a ink heart to the top of your head before writing his question.

'Will you be my darling?'
