We are in London right now and we are getting ready to perform tonight. Jungkook, the rest of the guys, and I have not really spoken about what happened at the airport the other day. Kind of just wanting to ignore it.
Jungkook and I have not really talked much either. I guess it's a little awkward since we aren't dating and stuff and I just don't know.
Anyway, we are about to perform and the guys are about to head up on stage.
I am not really feeling good right now, so I am sitting down drinking some water. As the guys are entering the stage, I look up and see them all disappear behind the curtain.
Jungkook is last, he turns to look at me and turn back around to go on stage.
The guys perform some of the songs that I don't perform with them, and then it is my turn to go up on stage.
The lights blind me when I get up there, but my eyes adjust and I wave to the fans. We begin to sing some of the songs, but in the middle of "MIC Drop ft. Steve Aoiki," I start to become dizzy. I sit down on stage and place my head in my hands. No one can really see me right now since I am in the back, but I know they will in a minute.
I look up at the guys and watch them continue to do their thing. Even though I am feeling dizzy and I feel like I am about to throw up, I watch Jungkook and I think "good God he is good looking right now." Funny right?
Yeah well, the guys and backup dancers disperse and I am still in the ground and my head is still in my hands.
I feel someone come up to me and put their hand on my back. I look up to see who it is and it's Jungkook.
He is saying something, but I can't hear what he is saying. I look at him confused and I look at his mouth to see what he is saying and he is saying, "Are you ok?"
My vision starts to become spotty and and then I fall back. Welp. I passed out. On stage. How great.
I wake up a few minutes later on the couch backstage. The staff is running around me and some people are fanning me off. I can feel ice packs on me, too.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You passed out," I hear Jungkook say, who is kneeling right beside me.
"How long have I been out?"
"About 5 minutes."
"Why aren't you on stage?"
"I wanted to make sure you were ok before I go back on."
He gives me a slight smile and I give one back.
One of the staff members comes up to me with a thermometer and checks my temperature.
"Jade, your temperature is 101.4. You are sick."
I nod, "Yeah, I wasn't feeling that good before the concert."
"We need to take you into the 'doctor' room," says the staff member.
I nod and begin to get up, but I fall back down again because I am feeling dizzy again.
"Here, let me help," says Jungkook. I thought he was going to help me walk to the room, but next thing I know, he has picked me up and he is literally carrying me to the room. He places me down gently on the bed in the room.
"Thanks," I say kind of laughing.
"No problem. You're going to be ok?"
"No, I going to die. Of course I am going to be ok."
He laughs and exits the room to go back on stage. Their mics are also connected to all the speakers in the arena, so as I am in the room, I can hear everything they say and I can listen to their beautiful voices sing.
I begin to drift into another sleep and I picture Jungkook on stage. He has been so caring to me recently. Maybe I should give him another chance?
I don't know, all I know is that I need to get better.
After about an hour, I hear someone rush in the room and kind of shake me awake. It's V.
"Hey Jade, how are you doing?"
"Good, yeah, besides the fever."
"Good good," he says.
"What's up?" I ask him sitting up and leaning my back against the wall.
"Well, we know you can't go on stage right now, but would you still like to do the duet with Jungkook, from here?"
"From right here?" I ask.
He nods and I say, "Sure."
He hands me a mic and I say, "Hey guys," and through the speaker in the room I can hear the crowd screaming.
Jimin comes in with a camera and is filming me.
"This is going to the big screen on the stage," he says.
I laugh and say, "Jungkook, which one are we singing?"
"'2U' by Justin Bieber," he says.
I smile and we begin singing. I know I probably look terrible, but I am just so engrossed in the song.
When we finish, the crowd screams.
Into the camera, I say, "Sorry I can't be on stage, but I have a fever, so I have to stay down here." I give the camera a little frowny face and I can hear all the audience go, "aw."
I wave to the camera and give it a little kiss. Jimin turns it off.
"Very good Jade!" says Jimin giving me a high five.
"Yeah that was really good," says V giving me a high five, too.
"We gotta go, see you in a little bit," says Jimin.
They both walk out the room and head towards the stage. I can tell when they entered the stage because I can hear the crowd scream louder.
I lie back down and look at my phone. I have a missed call from Kim. I'll talk to her tomorrow. Also, I don't tell this, but I talk to my mom every night by either call or text. The conversations are usually boring, so yeah.
I check my Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and Snapchat and update a little bit. But after a few minutes, I begin to feel tired again, so I turn off my phone and fall asleep.
Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow because I hate being sick. I used to kind of like it when I was in school because then I could miss school, but now I feel bad.
I need to get better fast!!
