I Need You

I wake up the next day late in the afternoon. I get dressed and brush my teeth and wash my face. When I make my way into the kitchen, there is a note on the refrigerator from Kim: "Hey I am going to class until 4. I'll come back with food!"

I smile and place the note down. It is right now 3:00, so I just decide to turn on the TV and make some coffee. I check my phone again and see more missed texts and calls from Jungkook. I again, don't respond.

Kim is subscribed to a kpop gossip channel, so I decide to turn it on to see if there is anything else there about Jungkook and Irene.

I keep it on, so many stories come and go. Then the story about Irene and Jungkook pops up, so I mute the TV and go to the kitchen to see if there are any snacks. I grab some pretzels and go back to the couch. The story on the TV has changed now and now I see a picture of me on the screen. I unmute the TV and see what the girl is saying:

"Today's hot story is 'Where is Jade?' She was not seen performing with her fellow BTS members at their concert in Canada just the other day. Also, as in the previous story, Jungkook was seen nibbling on Red Velvet member Irene. The boys were seen leaving the airport in Seoul just yesterday, and Jade was not there to greet them. Jade has also not been spotted anywhere for the past week or so. Has something happened between our Junkookie and our Jade? If you have any information contact us and it may appear on here!"

Now I'm like a missing person. Great.

I turn off the TV and head to the guest room. After a few minutes, I see more posts about "Where is Jade?" "Where is Jungkook's lady?" etc.

Enough is enough, I head to the balcony and decide to post a video on Snapchat. My eyes are a little bit puffy from last night and I look like crap, but I'm posting because I just want to let everyone know I'm still alive.

"Hey guys, it's Jade. I am here," I say turning the camera to the view, "in Atlanta staying at my friend Kim's place. Yes, so I just wanted to let y'all know that I am not dead. That is all, xoxo."

I end the video and post it. Within seconds, I see people have screen recorded it and within minutes, it is on Youtube. The titles of all the video's are "Look what Jade had to say about Jungkook!" and "Here is Jade's new snapchat post!" I don't understand why people like to throw things out of proportion for clickbait because I said nothing about Jungkook and it really isn't that exciting.

On some of the videos, I go through the comments and see things like: "Do her eyes look puffy to yall?" and "Jade! Have you been crying?" and "She looks stupid in this," etc.

I turn off my computer and hear a knock at the door. It is about 4:15 so I assume it is Kim and he hands are full or something.

I head to the door and open it, and there, standing in front of me, is Jungkook.

"Hey Jade, can we talk?" he asks when I open the door.

Tears begin to swell in my eyes again and I run away to the guest room and slam the door shut. I am so furious at him and how dare he come here. Did Kim tell them where I am exactly? Did she invite him over? Was this her idea? Why did he think it was a good idea to come here?

Jungkook knocks at the door and tries to open it, but I locked the door.

"Jade, open up."

"No!" I scream.

"Come on, I want to talk to you."

I walk to the door and open it, "Look at me," I say, "I do not want to talk to you," and I close the door again.

Jungkook opens the door and walks in, I guess I didn't lock the door by accident. I am lying sitting on the side of the bed facing away from the door.

He comes in and sits down next to me and wraps his arms around me in a hug. I push him away and stand back up and walk into the living room. He rushes after me and turns me around. I am now sobbing crying because just seeing him reminds me of what he did.

"What's wrong Jade?" he asks me in a sincere and stern way.

"You know what's wrong!" I yell at him, "It's all over the internet, and news, and everything!"

He looks at the floor and looks backup at me, "Is it the Irene thing that's been going around?"

"Yes!" I scream at him, tears rolling down my face, "How could you do that? Did you think I wouldn't find out?"

"It was nothing!" he yells back, "Nothing happened!"

"Yes something happened! You were nibbling on her and y'all looked pretty happy together," I yell at him with a slight sarcastic tone.

He was trying to think of something else to say, but I cut him off, "You know what, you think about your next excuse and I'm gonna go."

I pick up my purse and phone and walk out the door. On my way out I see the other guys sitting in the hallway. When they look up and see me, they all stand up.

"Jade," starts V and I put my hand up to stop him. I just walk between them all and head out the hallway.

When I walk outside the building, I see Kim walking towards me.

"Jade, what's wrong?" she asks.

"Did you tell the guys to come here?" I practically yell at her.

"The guys are here? As in Jungkook, Jimin, V-" she asks and I nod.

"I didn't tell them to come here," she says, "I don't know how they even knew were to come because I never told Jimin where I live."

At that moment, people start to swarm me and Kim and I make our way back into the building with the help of the doorman. He makes sure the crowd stays out. Kim goes on her phone and going on the internet. She looks to see if anyone found out where they were and told the guys, and there in front of us, someone commented saying that they live in the same building as Kim. They recognized the view from Kim's balcony from my snapchat story. That's how the guys found out.

Kim and I make our way back to her apartment and see the guys standing outside the door and Jungkook is leaning against the wall all distressed looking and sad. V and Jimin are trying to comfort him in a way and they all look up when they see me and Kim.

Jimin and Kim give each other small smiles and then look at me and Jungkook.

Jungkook looks up at me and we make eye contact. What do I do now that he is here?
