I Need You

The concert has begun. The guys are on stage right now greeting the crowd. They start by singing one of their most popular songs "DNA".

After about 20 minutes, they just finished singing "Dope" from one of their first albums. It is almost time for me to go up there to sing with them.

I hear RM starting to say something in Korean then in English, then I hear him say, "WELCOME JADE STORM!"

I hear the crowd cheering. I quickly make my way on stage. As I walk out, I am blinded by the bright lights for a second. There are so many people on stage.

I walk out closer to the boys and laugh and wave.

As I get to the boys, I give them each a little hug and wave to the crowd again. RM then announces what I am singing with them, "Fake Love" and "I Need You".

The crowd cheers and we starts to get into position for "Fake Love" which is first.

Performing on stage with them is so much fun. There is so much energy on stage from their fanbase, ARMY, and just from them. There is a lot of jumping and dancing.

After "Fake Love" I am out of breath. We grab some water real quick and start to get into position for "I Need You".

I love singing that song. The crowd cheers as we sing and they are really enjoying it. I'm so glad.

After "I Need You" I wave goodbye to the crowd. I can hear the "Aw's" in the crowd. Little do they know I will be back in a bit to sing the duet.

After the boys perform a few more songs, I see RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Suga, and Jin exit the stage. I don't see Jungkook. Then all of a sudden I think, "Oh shoot this is it. Time for the duet."

The boys walk to me and wish me luck.

Jungkook is talking to the crowd and then he announces my name. I walk on stage again and the audience cheers.

Jungkook is speaking his broken English.

"We," he says pointing between us, "are going to be singing 'Purpose' by Justin Bieber."

The crowd cheers, claps, screams, etc. We both laugh and just get in position on the chairs set up for us and begin to sing.

Jade: "Feeling like I'm breathing my last breath/Feeling like I'm walking my last steps/Look at all of these tears I've wept/Look at all the promises that I've kept."

JK: "I put my heart into your hands/Here's my soul to keep/I let you in with all that I can/You're not hard to reach/And you've blessed me with the best gift/That I've ever known."

Both: "You give me purpose/Yeah, you've given me purpose." We both stand up now and face each other.

Jade: "Thinking my journey's come to an end (JK: Oh)/Sending out a farewell to my friends/For inner peace/Ask you to forgive me for my sins (JK: Oh would you please?)/I'm more than grateful for the time we spend/My spirit's at ease."

JK: "I put my heart into your hands/Learn the lessons you teach/No matter when, wherever I am/You're not hard to reach/And you've given me the best gift/That I've ever known."

Both: "You give me purpose everyday/You give me purpose in every way."

JK: "Oh, you are my everything."

Jade: "Oh, you are my everything."

Both: "Oh, you are my everything."

The song is over. We put down our mics, but we are still facing each other looking into each other's eyes.

We look away when we start to hear the crowd go wild. We both look to the crowd and wave!

"Thank you!" I say.

I rest of the boys walk onto stage now and I give Jungkook a quick hug and I exit the stage.

RM is now speaking again. The boys perform one last song.

They call me up on stage for the final bow first, then they call up the backup dancers. We all walk downstage and take a bow. Then we all wave to the crowd and exit the stage.

Performing with them was such much fun! I would love to do it again.

I hope I will be able to one day. I don't know. We shall see.
