I Need You

I go to LA in 2 days.  I am so excited!  I can barely contain my happiness.  In school, I can barely concentrate because I keep thinking about what I will say, what I will wear, etc.  I'm also thinking I should learn at least 1 or 2 words in Korean because why not?

In the middle of my last hour, I get a skype from Kim on my computer:

"Hey girl are you ready to go to LA to meet the hottest boys alive?"

"Of course I am!  I wish you could come!  I have NO IDEA what I am going to wear!"

"Have you looked on Pinterest for some inspo?"

"Yeah.  But I don't thinking any of that will look good on me :("

"Want to go shopping after school?  We can find something that will look FRICKEN FIRE on you :)"

"Haha sounds good!  Let's get food, too.  I'm S T A R V I N G"

"Ok!  I will never reject food!  Meet at my house since it is close to the mall and we can get in my car."

"Ok sounds goodie!  See ya."

After school, Kim and I meet at her house to drop off my car and we got into hers.  Then, we left for the mall to go get a few outfits.  I am staying in LA for 3 days.  Practically the whole weekend- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  I get to miss Monday, THANK GOODNESS.

Shopping was a success.  I got a pair of black ripped jeans with a white top with spaghetti straps and black booties.  I also got a burgundy dress that wraps with brown heels and I got a black and white tube top with black ripped shorts and white tennis shoes.  I was so ready to meet these boys!

The next day, Thursday, went smoothly.  No homework, no tests, no quizzes, no projects.  Just a super chill day.

When I got home after school I facetimed Kim and got to packing.

Once I was done I decided to take a nap.  Well, I slept for 5 hours... so, I missed dinner.  I went to the kitchen and made me some quick microwave mac and cheese and then went to take a quick shower.  After my shower, I went back to bed just ready to wake up to go to the airport to go to LA!

Our flight to LA is at 7am.  So, my mom and I got up at 4am and left for the airport at 5am.  It takes about an hour to get to the airport and we always like to give us about an hour at the airport to make sure everything runs smoothly.  So, we get to the airport at 6am and board at 6:45am.  The plane takes off at 7am, as planned, and we are off!!

I am literally so excited that I can barely contain my happiness.  My mom has to tell me to calm down a few times on the plane.

Once we land in LA, we head to the hotel that Big Hit Entertainment paid for.  How nice of them, am-i-right?

I then go get my clothes on.  I decide to wear the black ripped jeans with the white top and black booties today to meet them for the first time.  I need to make sure I look GOOD!

I put on a little bit of make up and my mom and I get in the car sent to the hotel to go meet the boys and their management.

I thought we were going to where they are having their concert this weekend, but the driver takes us to their hotel instead.

My mom and I get out of the car and head inside.  We are greeted by the management team.  With their broken English, we have a conversation:

"Hello hello Jade!  So nice to finally meet you!  Your video was very nice!  Your voice so pretty!"

"Haha thank you so much!  This is such an honor and I am so happy to be here right now.  This is my mom," I say gesturing towards my mom.

"Hello hello Jade's mother.  So glad you could come as well!  Let us go upstairs to meet the boys."

We all walk and enter the elevator.  We go to the very top floor.  Wow, they must have gotten the penthouse or something.

Once the elevator doors open, we walk into this wide living room with this huge window wall showing the whole city.  I walk towards the window and just admire the city.  I have never been to LA before and I am already in love with it.

After a few minutes, I hear some rustling behind me towards the other end of the room.  I turn around, and there, I see them, the most handsome boys in the world, BTS.

They. are. standing. right. in. front. of. me. looking. at. me.  I am dying on the inside.  I am frozen still.  I have no idea what to say to them.

"Hello Jade!" says RM, "Nice to meet you!"

He walks towards me and shakes my hand.

"Hi nice to meet you, too!  Wow, sorry, I am just so starstruck right now haha!"

All of the guys laugh behind RM. 

"Here come say hi to all of the guys," RM says.  He gestures for me to follow him to meet the guys.

First in line is Jin.

"Hi Jade!  I'm Jin.  Nice to meet you!  You are very pretty."  I just giggle at him saying that.  Mr. Worldwide Handsome is calling me pretty.

"Hi Jin!  Worldwide Handsome!  Nice to meet you, too!"  All of the guys start dying laughing at my statement and Jin just shrugs like "it's true".

Next is J-Hope.

"Hi Jade!  I'm your hope, you're my hope, I'm J-Hope.  Your voice is amazing!"

"Thank you J-Hope!  I am so happy to meet you!!"

Next is Jimin.  SOO CUTE!

"Hey Jade!  I'm Jimin.  I love your voice and your cover of "I Need You" was breathtaking."

"Thank you Jimin!  I am so glad you liked it!  I am just so excited to be meeting you haha!"

Next is Suga.

"Hi Jade.  You did really good singing our song.  I cannot wait to hear more!"

"Thank you Suga!  That means so much to me!  I love you, and RM's, rapping so much!"

Next is V.

"Heyy Jade.  I'm V.  You are very pretty girl.  I loved your singing in your video.  Really, good."

He gives me a thumbs up and smiles.  His voice is just so deep and amazing.  He is just pure gorgeousness.

"Hi V!  Thank you so much haha!"

Last is Jungkook.  So freaking handsome.

"Hey Jade I'm Jungkook," he says while his eyes are just staid on me, "Your voice is just so good and I really enjoyed watching your video.  I personally thought it was the best cover of one of our songs I ever have seen."

I was at a loss of words.  Just seeing his face made me freeze.

"Oh uh," I say starting to come back to reality, "Thank you so much!  That really means a lot and I just love your voice so much, too!  So.. angelic haha."

After I finish talking to him, he takes my hand and shakes it.  He is just staring at me with those beautiful eyes.  He doesn't let go of my hand.  He is looking at me as if he is peering into my soul and reading my thoughts: "You're so handsome" and "I love you"

I can feel the other guys looking at us and whispering.  RM, not so discreetly, coughs and I quickly shift my gaze to the ground and he lets go of my hand.  I look up at Jungkook again and he is turning bright red. 

"Well, let's get down to business," says RM and the room's energy quickly becomes less awkward.

Do Jungkook and I have a connection?

I feel it, but I am not sure.
